They left, because they were doing some " Errands " you found that it was your chance to make it out ALIVE so once they left you kicked the window and it broke open, letting you have a chance to escape... Once it broke, you had a few scrapes but you were able to move around, and finally you left.... FREEDOM AT LAST!!!!!!!!!
