After Silver's parents die and his sister, Katu, goes missing he is left as Dawn Pack leader. He is forced to stay inside the grounds of Dawn Camp, but when he spots Marrok, his cousin, making a deal with the Lawless pack he knows something is up...
"Today we gather as a pack to celebrate approval to make a new young Alpha to run our glorious pack! Please welcome to the Holy Rock Sir Silver Dawn," As I stepped up onto the large white rock I heard the wolves around me howl with joy and stamp their paws against the hard ground to imitate a sound that we once heard a human make with his hands. I sat and bowed down to the crowd and they howled even louder, I even heard a splutter as a pup began coughing. "So Sir, What would you like to do whilst being alpha?"
"Sorry, What?" I asked the elder who was running the ceremony,
"Oh Y'know. What are you greatest Aspirations? Wishes?" The elder croaked back at me. Hmm, my greatest aspirations, huh? I know! I want to be the strongest Alpha in the world, then run to my sister and rub in her face the fact that I was right and she was wrong! But I can't exactly do that can I... "Uh, Sir?" I shook my head quickly as I realised I had left the crowd in silence.
" Oh yes my greatest Aspirations are to find the hidden power in all unfortunate wolves who have lost their families, Including myself," That was sort of a lie. I hadn't lost my whole family, but to be fair Marrok has been on a trip out to the Local village to steal some of their cows and horses and other meaty delicacies. What I really wanted to do is atleast find the bodies of my parents and sister, they couldn't be dead I knew they couldn't...
As the ceremony ended it was already dark and everyone had headed into their dens except for me. I sat and stared out onto the dry field; the field where I lost my family. I walked down the rock slowly and into a large cave, the Alpha den. I dug up from a large pile of leaves three items. There was a bandana, a cape and a bracelet. I had kept hidden where no one could find them, where no one could take them away from me... I sat in the silence before I heard a muffled voice coming from within the trees; I crept out of my den and looked over to see two wolves, a Lawless and a Dawn. " I'll give you all the food you need for a year if you get them for me," The Dawn whispered.
"Make it two years and I'll kill the owners..."

"Agreed," The Lawless turned and walked away and then I finally saw the face of the Dawn. Marrok... "A word, cousin..." I said as I stepped infront of him. His jaw dropped and he leant back onto his back legs. "You'll never be good enough to be alpha," he stuttered. I chuckled at him,
" That isn't going to do anything to me, Marrok. I have grown stronger," I dug my claws into the ground aggressively. Marrok turned and ran as he shouted, " I will get to them first! I will kill them!" It took me a few minutes to realise what he was talking about... He wanted to be Alpha! He was going to kill my family to make me break apart and give him my position! So selfish! But my family was alive, and I wanted to keep it that way. I ran into my den and put on all of my families items; Assuming that was what the Lawless was looking for. I walked out into the forest on my own and just walked. I didn't know where I was going but I didn't care. I was going to find my family and I didn't care where It would take me, I would find them...
