Penny the killer

          Penny woke up in some dark room. She opened her brown eyes and she noticed something wet on the floor. Penny looked at the floor and saw blood. Next to her was lying her colleague from the university, Sachiko Hoizumi covered with blood and dead. Penny was terrified saying:

- Sachiko, Sachiko! Oi wake up... No! She's already dead....

Then Penny realized that she had knife in her hand, covered with blood. Penny put down the knife terrified and said:

- I...I killed Sachiko? No...I... I don't remember anything.... Sachikooo!!!

At that moment, the door opened and the police came in. They said:

- Don't move! You're under arrest for killing Sachiko Hoizumi-san!

The two policemen caught the poor Penny and she said:

- No! I'm not the killer! I didn't kill Sachiko! Shun, save me!

The policeman put cuffs on Penny and put her in the police car. The police brought Penny in the police station. They put Penny in one questioning room and one inspector came in. He sat on the chair and asked:

- Why did you kill Sachiko Hoizumi-san?

Penny was crying and answered:

- I didn't kill her...

The inspector said:

- Your fingerprints were on the bloody knife, Penny-san. So, I guess your motive was this: You and Sachiko-san were colleagues on the university, medicine to be exact. You were jealous on her and killed her.

Penny said:

- That's not true! I'll never be jealous on Sachiko. She was good girl.

The inspector said:

- Good girl enough to be killed by you!

Penny said:

- But... I... I didn't kill her...

At that moment, the door opened and the dark blue haired boy came in. He asked:

- What's going on here, inspector?

The inspector turned around and saw Shun. He answered:

- Detective Shun... So you're here too...

Shun asked:

- Yeah. Penny is my girlfriend. Why is she here?

The inspector answered:

- Y-your g-girlfriend huh... Well... This girl is a killer. She killed Sachiko Hoizumi and her fingerprints are on the bloody knife and also the apartment was locked.

Shun asked:

- I see... Can I talk with her, alone?

The inspector answered:

- Of course, take your time.

Then the inspector left. Shun sat down on the chair and asked:

- Penny... Tell me what happened? Why are you treated like killer?

Penny answered with tears:

- I don't really remember...

~ flashback~

- Hey Sachiko. Today we're on practice together. - Said the black haired girl.

- Yeah... I hate the morgue. It's creepy. - Said the white haired girl.

Penny said:

- Oh come one, we're only an hour here.

Sachiko said:

- Yeah, you're right, Penny.

Then they started to make autopsy of one woman. Half hour later, suddenly it was black out. Sachiko and Penny were in dark. Sachiko said:

- Great... Just that we needed... Darkness and morgue.... Penny, stay here. I'll go to find candles... 

Penny said:

- Sure. I'll wait for you here, Sachiko.

Then Sachiko went away. Penny waited for Sachiko 15 minutes, but no trace of her. Penny was worried and went to look for Sachiko. It was so dark and Penny couldn't see anything. But at that moment, someone put handkerchief on Penny's mouth. She felt unconscious thinking ,,eh, chloroform."

- That was all I remember. - Said Penny.

Shun asked:

- I see... Penny. Calm down. You're not the killer. Does Sachiko-san had enemies?

Penny answered:

- Hmm... I don't really know. She had boyfriend but she broke up. Sachiko was only my colleague from the university, so I don't know much about her private life...

Shun said with smile:

- Don't worry. Yuto and I'll find the killer.

Penny said with tears:

- Thanks, Shun...

Shun said:

- Don't worry. Everything will be fine... I'll find the killer.

Then Shun left the room. The next few hours, Shun and Yuto went to the crime scene to find clues. Shun said:

- Damn, the killer was so cautious. Why he wanted to blame my Penny?

Yuto said:

- Shun, don't worry. We'll find the killer. I already solved the locked room. Also, the killer wasn't so cautious. Look what I found, Shun.

Shun saw one fiber. It was red. Shun asked:

- Yuto, do you think that fiber belong to the killer?

Yuto nodded smiling. Shun said:

- Let's bring him to the forensic.

Yuto nodded and they went to analyze the fiber's DNA in the forensic. Soon they found out that the fiber belong to Rotaro Hizuki. He was Sachiko's ex boyfriend. The police arrested Rotaro and Penny was released. Shun said:

- So, you're free now, my love.

Penny smiled saying:

- I can't believe that this guy killed Sachiko because they broke up...

Shun said:

- He admitted the crime. I asked him why he wanted to blame you and he said because you were on his way by accident. He said sorry..

Penny said:

- I'm glad that you found out the killer. Thank you, Shun.

Shun smiled kissing her lips and said:

- It's alright. I'll do everything for you, my love.

Penny hugged Shun saying:

- I love you, Shun.

He smiled kissing her forehead saying:

- I love you too, Penny.

Then they left the police station forever. Penny was happy that Shun solved the case and that nightmare ends here...
