Once upon a time in a kingdom far, far away, there lived a princess. Her name was Beatrice. She was a happy-go-lucky girl who loved everything from the food on her plate to the stars high up in the sky . Howeve , what she loved most was nature. She loved how the flowers bloom, how the trees grew and how the birds sang. She loved everything, even if she did not understand them.
One day, as Beatrice was lying on the grass, she hard a very loud cry. It was the sound of a cat's and it came from the Peak of Doom. Oh no, she thought. No one has ever survived a fall from the Peak. She ran to the stables, took her horse Jessie, and rode to the Peak of Doom at top speed.
When she had finally reached the Peak,  she frantically searched for the cat, hoping to find it still alive.
   "MEEEOOOOOWWWW!"
She heard it again.  She ran all the way to the edge. It was the cat! She heaved a sigh of relief as she found it was still alive. It was holding on to a branch with its front paws while its hind ones were dangling precariously in the air. She knew she had to help it, at any cost.
"Here! Take my hand!", she called out to the cat.  "Don't worry, it's okay.  You're safe with me." The cat finally held out one of its paws and she immediately pulled it with all her might, and as carefully as she could, as she did not any harm to get into the cat's way.
Finally, she had brought the cat back to safety. She heaved a sigh of relief (again!) as she knew the cat was safe and sound.
Suddenly, a bright light shone on the cat. It had transformed into a girl which looked about her age. She was shocked as she did expect that to happen.
"Hello. I'm Cumin, the witch of cats. Don't be afraid, I am not here to harm you. Instead, I am here to thank you as you have saved my life. How can I possibly repay you?"
Beatrice was afraid at first but considering, she finally said " You are welcome. However,  I do not ask for anything in return. As a princess,  it is my duty to help everyone in my kingdom in any way possible."
Cumin looked dejected at first but her face suddenly lit up " Can you be my friend?" Beatrice replied "Sure!"
From then on, Beatrice and Cumin became the best of friends. However, the story does not end there. Their story goes on. Who knows? They might even meet you one day...
