The bird was flying, free, unrestricted. Then the men in the white car, with the nets, came and trapped her. The bird is no longer free.

The bird is now caged. No longer flying, no longer unrestricted. The men did this to her. Its all their fault.

The caged bird cannot fly, even if she tries. The men clipped the caged bird's wings. She can no longer fly, free as a bird should be.

The caged bird no longer sings. The men taped her mouth shut. She cannot sing, scream, whistle, protest anymore.

The caged bird is a hollow shell now. The men came and hurt her. Their steaming stick prodded her, making her lose the one thing she held most dear.

The caged bird is dead. The men did not care after what they did. The caged bird is no longer alive. She's free though, free from the men in the white car.

The caged bird sings now, the men are now the caged ones.
