This is a new story, I decided to write, because i am a bit bored these days as the holidays are starting here in Australia and because i am reading amazing stories on wattled and quizilla and i wanted to try it out.
Authors Note: If there is ANYTHING here that offends you, it IS unintentional, and this is somewhat loosely based on a true story.
Does He Really Mean It?
Chapter 00.
*4 Years Ago at St Anthony's Primary School || Year 6*
"Score!!" As I kicked the winning goal into the net. All the boys were cheering and well, lets just say all the girls were just staring at me. Why doesn't everyone like playing soccer? I'm a girl but that doesn't mean i can't play soccer.
"Hey Kay!" i heard a familiar cocky voice. Ehh, it was Seth. He was one of those jerkish type guys that try to get on your nerves. I just ignored him and walked away satisfied with myself. I remembered last year i stabbed him with a pen during class i heard he went home crying and then at the end of the year for Christmas i gave him a card that said "Merry Christmas, I HATE YOU. Love Mikayla"
I saw Ian running up to me from across the field.
"Hey, can i talk to you for a sec." He was taking deep breaths and i was trying to make out what he was say.
"Yeah, sure" I said unsure what he wanted
"Don't tell anyone but Ryan told me he likes you." Now if that didn't get my attention I don't know what did.
"WHAT? What?! And why would he tell you? Is it true?!"
"What do you mean? Would he tell me I'm his best friend" He was acting almighty and proud. "And yes its true, just don't tell anyone."
[Later that day, after school at the local library]
"Hey Lara, whatcha doing?" I was in a somewhat happy mood?
"Oh, yeah Kay, OH KAYYYYYY. " She brought our the "Y" as if she just realised who i was. "I have to tell you something"
"What is it now?" I was getting fair bit annoyed because her stories were so pointless.
"Well, did you know in class Ian had this book about people in year 6 and their crushes and well Olivia being herself took the book off him and read it. And guess what?!" Ugh, she was acting all happy and gushy.
"Let me guess, you read that Ryan likes me?" I was sure I shocked her there.
"Oh My Gosh, how did you know?! How embarrassing is that?! Poor Ryan"
"Ian told me after the soccer match." I showed no emotion and i couldn't care less.
"Well, I mean how ugly is he. I feel for you girl." And yes he WAS ugly, but he wasn't the worst. "I heard it was a crush since year 4. Thats like 2 years, he must've liked you A LOT"
*Present (Three years later) || Year 9*
"Mia? Mia, Mia, MIA, MIA!!!" I shouted across the hallway. She was as deaf as a bat is blind.
"Oh my gosh hey Kay, how are you and how were your holidays?"
"Ugh, they were the usual. Mum keeps nagging me to get ready for holiday 'school' work, as always." It was true, my mum would always make me do the text books before school, so i knew what i was learning before i actually learnt it.
"But Kay. Your one of the smartest students in the year level." She had a habit of whining but i tolerated it,
Oh i should introduce myself. My name is Mikayla Adams and I'm 14years old and I attend KMS All Girls High School. I have sleek straight natural hair, dark brown eyes and a round face. I wouldn't' be considered as skinny or fat, but I think I'm fat when my friends disagree. I love my music and i am a girl that enjoys listening to alternative/indie/screamo/punk/rock music and that includes, All Time Low, Bring Me The Horizon, The Maine, Mayday Parade, Bullet For My Valentine and a lot more. My friends are Mia Lily, Ella, Steph, Liz, Sara, Christina and Kim. I've never thought much about guys, apart from being infatuated in the celebs from my rocking' bands, like Alex Gaskarth, Bradie Webb and Nick Jonas.
"Sheeeeeeeesh Mia, you make me feel more like a nerd than making me feel better, " I remember she told me 'Just because your smart it doesn't mean your a nerd' and i have always kept that in mind.
"Well, todays gonna be a fun day, first day of school. You know what were missing? " I already knew the answer, HER answer to that question.
"No, no, let me guess" i was laughing at her quirkiness, "BOYS" I shouted
We were running down the corridor and headed for home group, as we entered our home group teacher we named 'Odis' was just say "...we girls, i know its your first day back and i have some good news to tell you. As you know we are all girl school and the school has decided to have an exchange program with Hallows College, an all boys high school just minutes away from us...."
As if on cue all the girls starting whispering and squealing to each other, but I didn't care, now the girls would act more skankier than before, and some would take forever to get ready.
The last time i saw him was in year 6, and now i just realised he would be here, tomorrow for the exchange. I still couldn't face him, even if it was only a one way crush, i never talked to him again, and probably thinks he scared me away and that was a good thing Lets hope his puppy crush is over.
