"Hey! Hey! Hey!" A cheery voice rang into the café that was about to open in a few minutes.

A ravenette with short hair and dark chocolate colored eyes entered the place in her casual green top with a white vest, pants and sneakers.

"Ah~ Good morning Allysa" a lady with brown locks nicknamed Erine (Catherine) responded. She was already wearing the maid costume prepared by the café.

"'Mornin!" A blonde male with green eyes in his butler outfit replied to his colleague.

"Allysa, better get dressed up, we're about to open" the café owner went down the stairs while wiping his hands with a white handkerchief. "The rest of you should get ready"

"Yes sir!" They saluted as they went off to their respective places.

The blonde male heaved a sigh which drew attention towards him. "Aya-chan's late again"

"Who the fu©k are you calling Aya-chan, Luther?"

The two of them saw their blue-haired co-worker already wearing his butler outfit who was glaring at him with his charcoal black orbs.

"Oho? Aya-chan's here! It's a miracle!" Luther laughed as 'Aya-chan' stepped closer with a menacing aura hovering around him.

"Isn't too early for you two to fight?" Erine waved her hands in front in an attempt to stop them from fighting.

"Yes it is" Ayato sent one last glare at Luther before adding, "I'll deal with you later"

Erine sweatdropped. "That's not what I meant"

She sighed before Allysa tapped on her shoulder. "Why the long face? Cheer up! Aya-chan's just joking"

"Someone's going to die soon" Ayato looked over the two of them after hearing their conversation with a glare.

Allysa sweatdropped before patting on Erine's shoulder to excuse herself.

Customers flooded in as soon as they opened. Couples, friends, businessmen, families, people with different positions in life felt the place like a second home.

"Miss Catherine?"

She felt someone gently tugging on her left sleeve. She looked down and saw a cute little girl with puffy cheeks, blonde locks and green eyes.

Catherine bent down to level with the child's eyes and asked, "May I help you with-"

The kid suddenly showed her a piece of paper with the words:

Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi

Catherine blinked in surprise as the child added, "Could you do this with a violin?"

Then it hit her.

It was Friday.

The café was open to requests of having Catherine perform with the piano and violin the place owned during Fridays.

And what do you know? It's Friday.

Friday the 13th.

"Ayato"

The blue-haired male looked over his shoulder and saw Catherine holding his wrist. He was already leaving since he was wearing his black motorcycle suit, boots and purple scarf.

"What am I doing?!" She exploded in embarrassment.

Luther was gathering the other customers' requests so Catherine had a break for a little while.

The moment she heard him talking to their café owner about leaving early brought this uneasy feeling in her.

"What?"

She snapped back to reality and realized Ayato was staring at her. "Uh... Aren't you gonna stay a bit longer?"

Ayato raised an eyebrow before saying, "I know what's going on..."

Her breathing hitched as she let go of him. "Eh?"

"I can't believe you're actually into these myths about Friday the 13th"

"Wha-?" Catherine cocked her head to the side in confusion.

"Tch, whatever I'll be back soon" Ayato helplessly sighed while glancing at the grandfather clock. Seeing that Catherine won't talk anymore, he turned around to face the exit and bumped into a customer who mumbled a small sorry to him.

Ayato sent a glare at the man before finally stepping out of the cafe.

Catherine helplessly sighed before she turned to take the customer's order. She rummaged through her pocket before she finally got a hold of the small notebook and pen.

"What would you like to order to order sir?"

This person is a new face marking this as the first time he ever visited the café.

The brown-haired customer glanced up and appeared like he was  inspecting her like she was some sort of foreign person or extraterrestrial being.

Upon realizing she was only human, his face was split with a smile.

"I'd like to order your soul please~"

Catherine blinked in surprise and racked her brain for a proper response. "Uh... There's no soul in the menu. Would you like something else?"

He broke into a hearty laughter before saying, "That's an amusing response. The others would run away or make me leave when I tell them that"

"You're not here to prank us, are you?" Catherine asked.

"Not really, that would be such a low... initiative" He waved his hand to dismiss the matter.

"I'm actually new here and some people pointed out that I could ask the café for some information" He added while innocently scratching the back of his head. "Are you Catherine Felton?"

She nodded and wondered if he guessed that out.

"The people told me about you and your attitude and nature so it was kinda easy to know" he spoke like he just read her thoughts. "I'm Desmon by the way. Desmon Sandlisar"

This fate was similar to rain. It unexpectedly appears just like how Desmon winded up into their café.

And the rain unexpectedly leaves just like what happened to someone she thought she'll see again some sunny day.

"It's funny how dumb you are"
