Wolf-y Buisness

I left that man with a nice big scratch down the side of his face and ran, as I was leaving, vampires from everywhere were lunging at me with their fangs beared. I was suprised at how fast I could run, i was also suprised with how fast vampires were. I guess I was just overall suprised. I mean, I learned just today that I'm half vampire, half werewolf. Where's the human part?

I ran for quite awhile before I felt safe. It was night by the time I stopped running. I came to a cliff, and I couldn't resist howling at the full moon. I changed into human form and started making a bed. I realised that my bed probably wasnt going to be comfortable, so I tried to make a bed for a wolf. I started with a nice pile of soft grass, then, found a huge pile of leaves, and laid those acroos my bed-ish thing. I tried to get myself to change back into wolf form, and it took alot of effort. I realied that the ore I get angry, the easer it is to change. How come I never changed like this before? That was a question I was willing to put off until morning.

I woke in wolf form only to find two other wolves around me. I got up and they trotted off a little bit, I followed them, only to find them walking and turning into humans. I turned around, walked for a bit did a u-turn then ran and changed into a human, I found it much easer to do running than walking. One of the men looked and me and said in a deep tone;

"State your name."

"Ellizabeth Penner." I said firmly

"Daughter of ex-alpha female Lauren Hatchet-- err-- Penner"

"Yes"

"Half vampire aswell, I see you smell, um, not the best."

"True, but the legion, thier kinda being, creepy right now, I'm not too sure I want to be a vampire." I said, realising something important about my adopted parents.

"I have to go!" I said checking my phone, one missed call, and not ten, thats wierd I thought. I called my parents running, My mom answered

"Are you still at the mall?" she asked

I was dumbfounded but found that the right answer was yes

"Yes, i'll be right home!" I said

"Okay sweetie, I'm at the supermarket, so I probably wont be home when you get home. How was your night at Daniela's?" She asked

I was still stupified, but said: "Oh great! Thanks for asking!" Then we said quick goodbyes and hung up. I was so confused so I texed Daniela; "Heey!" To which she replied with a; "Come to my house, I will explain everything." I texted back a "Ok". I stuffed my phone back into my pocket, i looked back and realised that those two guys were still watching me. I looked forward, ran a little faster then changed into wolf form untill I was close to the actual city. I changed back and fixed my hair even though it didnt need much fixing. I sat around trying to remember how to get to Daniela's when I remembered that there was an easy short cut through St. Purinese Forest. I had to take a bus first. I was running then because I just saw the bus and knew that the next one wasnt going to be here for awhile.

"Wait, wait!" I screamed. Luckily the bus driver heard me and waited. I got on and used my last bus ticket. I went and took a seat on the almost full bus. I got off about 5 stops later and the St. Purinese Forest, Forest walk. As I walked onto the path there was a sign that had huge claw marks going across it, it read; Beware wolves. I had never seen any wolves in here yet, I was about to be one. I walked off the trail for a bit, then I found a nice area, where I changed into a wolf. I walked for a bit acting like a casual wolf, while I was really looking for the trail. I found the trail, but it was going to be hard, as there was a huge group of people. I walked a little close then made a bark type noise. A little girl looked my way, and when she saw me she started pulling at her mothers sleve. Her mother looked my way and started showing everyone else. I eyed them for a moment, then started getting closer. These people were appently idiots, they kept saying, come here puppy, and more stuff like that so I ran. I ran until I got near Daniela's house. Then I changed into a human. I had to walk for a bit but that was okay. I got up to her back door and knocked. Daniela came outside.

"This is all pretty confusing, huh?" She asked me

"Um, Yes?" I answered

"Your a werewolf! Like my family! That's why we have this house, it backs onto a forest so we can be wolves whenever we want! So cool! Right?" She said beaming

"Um, yeah. Wait, so what happened?" I asked her

"Oh yeah! Okay, so here's the thing, all mistical creatures have a power called smokey eye. Ha! Like the style of eyeshadow!" She said

"Going off track!" I said knowing that she would have continued on about makeup.

"Right right! Wolves. Smokey eye, got it. Anyways, so we can use this power to confuse humans into thinking other things. For example, I saw you leave with that vampire guy, Nathan, so I used smokey eye to make your parents think that you were at my place!"

"Did your parents know about this?" I asked

"Of course! They can see through smokey eye, duh, they have the power to use it! Come with me!!" She ran off the deck, and jumped down the stairs, and turned into a wolf. I examined her, she had dark grey eyes, and a nice warm brown coat. I had never given much though to what I looked like. I did what Daniela had done, ran and then jumped down the stairs of her deck, except, I failed, and did a huge somarsault as a wolf. Daniela made somewhat of a laugh, to which I jumped on her. She shook me off and ran, I followed her. We ran as wolves to that little shed that still creeped me out. She changed back to human and so did I. When I entered the shed, I lifted the hatch that Nathan and I had gone down earlier. She looked at me and said

"Shut that!, I closed it and she opened a different one, this one, is where the wolves go in. That one's for those hideous vampires." She climbed down the hole, and when we were in a tunnel, she changed into a wolf, and I did the same. When we came out of the long tunnel, she changed into human, but I didnt. The place looked way better than the vampire place. That place was all deserted, but here, it was full of people, and light. It was amazing. She changed into wolf again. I was thinking tha all that changing would make me dizzy. Then I heard her say someting in my head;

"See that guy over there standing under the clock tower? He is the hottest alpha male ever. I just wish I had the courage to go talk to him." Just then, A larger wolf came up behind us and said;

"Well, hello there miss Daniela, is this a friend of yours? I hope you checked her in. Have you checked her in?"

"Um, no Mr. Hatchet, I was just about to go do that."

"Miss Daniela, I'll take her there, why dont you go talk to Chace? If your too afraid, then why not try talking to my son, Mathew, first? He has a crush on you, you know." He said. Mr. Hatchet, oh no, my mom's ex-husband.

"You are?" He asked me.

"Ellie, Ellie Benson." I said

"Try again, I know that's not your real name, tell me. Who are you really?" He said

"That is my name." I said a little bit shaky

"I am the alpha of all alpha males, if you lie again, I'll punish you."

I gulped, I had no idea what a werewolf punishment was like, but he was threatning me with it, so I was scared. "I'm adopted, I said hoarsely, If you really need to know, my full name is Ellizabeth Olive Penner."

"Who are your parents?" He asked quickly

I took a deep breath, and said; "Nicolas and Laura Penner"

"Laura, Laura Penner. My first wife. I thought I killed you Miss Ellizabeth." He said. It creeped me out that everyone was calling me miss. I hate being called miss.

I couldnt think of anything to say, so I said; "Oh,"

"Were here. Ahh, Madame LaDecor, I want to get this new wolf her Identity. First name---" He continued on about my information. When he was done, he looked at me and said; "There, your in our system. Come, I'll get you set up" I followed him to my new secret home.
