Kim Sejeong is a bright and cheerful young girl, who lives in Seoul with her mother and older brother. Since young, seeing her mom struggling to bring up her two kids as a single mom made Sejeong mature much more than the average 15-year-old middle school girls.
Just like a lot of other youngsters in Korea, Sejeong is very interested in singing and has always been dreaming about performing on a stage in front of a huge audience. However, given her family situation, it seemed like an impossible dream. After all, Korea's entertainment industry is extremely competitive with tens of thousands of young talents fighting for the spotlight, which is limited for a handful of people. How long does she have to be training before she can debut as a singer she wished for? 3 years? 5 years? She does not know. The future is extremely uncertain.
