Wow! Rude one! I took a step back to allow him to open the door. He quickly grabbed my arm and led me to a corridor.

“Can you please tell me where I am?” I asked politely.

He didn´t answer but threw a look my way and I vaguely heard him mutter ´as if´. I sighed and assured myself it wouldn´t be long until I knew. I looked at him one more time and I had to admit he was pretty handsome. He was tall with blond hair and blue eyes. So not my type! He seems to notice my staring because he stopped and looked back at me.

“What are you looking at?” he asked suddenly.

“Nothing” I replied. Geez!

He narrowed his eyes but nodded and I had to bite my lips not to laugh.

“Here” he said and opened a big double door. I stepped in and noticed it was a very big and round hall. I felt nervous when I noticed the resemblance with a court. Was I on trial? What for?

“To the center” the guy who led me instructed. I looked at him pleading him with my eyes not to let me alone but he shook his head in a very slow motion. I was sure only I noticed. Was he not allowed to talk to me? I followed him with my eyes as he went to sit with some other guys.

“Your name, girl?” a very old man asked. Just then I noticed there were at least seven old men like him. Like they were wise old people or something. They all looked at me with a very displeased expression. What did I do to them?

“Ann…Anna McPearson, Sir” I stuttered.

“Do you know why you are here?” he asked

“No, sir” I replied “So far, no one´s talking to me”

He leaned in the table in front of him to look at me closely. I felt like I was under a big magnifying glass. He straightened himself and stood up,  he suddenly seems taller than before.

“Young lady, are you or are you not a member of the Dark Moon Pack?” he made the question in a very spiteful way, as if the name of my old pack was poison to his mouth.

“I…Not anymore” I confessed “I left the pack a few months ago”.

“Were you banned?” he asked incredulously.

I shook my head and for some reason I couldn´t hold my gaze on him. He growled angrily.

“Are you saying you became a rogue willingly? Why would you do such a thing?”

I looked up to him. I couldn´t tell him what happened. I didn´t know the man for God´s sake! I couldn´t even think about it without shedding tears.

“I´m sorry, sir but I´m afraid I can´t answer that question” I said very low.

“You should, girl” he threatened “at least if you value your life”

I closed my eyes and sighed. They could kill me if they want, I won´t talk about the worst episode of my life.

“Are you Alpha Jackson´s mate?” he asked with hatred.

“Wha…what?” I asked back, perplexed.

“I think is pretty obvious. When we got to where you were gathered they were very protective of you. And then, then Alpha Jackson got there he was furious we took you... He went mental. He even killed one of our best. The pack would only fight that way for its Luna, nothing less” He stated.

“I´m not his mate” I spat angrily. How dare they relate me in such a way with that monster?

“Don´t lie to us, girl” another old man said “it will only sink you more”
