Lucy's P.O.V

. . .

Will I ever be able to meet him?

I wonder how's he doing. I wonder...if he still remembers my name. I smiled. Probably not. Hopefully he did. Because...who would remember someone who is such a cry baby.

I walked back to my house. I walked in as Virgo opened the door for me. " Is dad home? " That's what I always ask, 'cause I have nothing else to say. She closed the door behind me and answered, " No. "

" I see... If you need anything, I'll be in my room, okay? " I said, walking up the stairs.

I looked at her. She smiled. Then she bowed and said, " As you wish, Miss.Lucy. " I nodded and I continued walking up the stairs. I opened the door to my room and I entered. Closing the door behind me. I took a deep breath in. Still smells like lavender, with a hint of vanilla. And it still feels like the same atmosphere too. I put my school bag on my bed and I sat on my bed. I took out my phone and I placed it on the desk next to my bed. Then I stare at my phone. I sighed. Then I turned my head to the left and then I stared out the window. I stare at the clouds in the sky as they slowly move across the sky. Then it remembered something about my mom...

~Flashback - 6 Years Ago...~

It was just me and mom outside, sitting next to each other, staring at the bright blue sky. There was some clouds in the sky. Then mommy let me sit in/on her lap. I stared at the sky. Then she told me, pointing at the sky, " One day...I'll be up there... "

" Huh? " I asked, confused.

" You'll understand when you'll get older. " She replied.

" Okay. " I said, smiling.

" One day, I'll no longer be here and I will be up there in the clouds watching you. So for the mean time, I wanna spend the rest of my life with you. But don't worry. I'll be forever living in your heart and in your memories. Understand? " She said, tapping my nose with her finger, her other hand was holding my hand.

I didn't really understand what she said, but I just smiled and nodded. " After I'm gone, I want you to smile more. Have a happy life. Find someone to fill up the scar's and holes that me and dad might have left on your heart. Please...be happy...when...I'm...gone...I love you... "

I smiled and said, " I love you too! "

Then it became dead silent. I got a little worried, so I said, " Mommy? You okay? Why aren't you talking? " Then I felt something fall on the floor and mommy let's go of my hand. I turned around and she was on the floor and her eyes were closed. My heart started beating faster. I was scared. What happened. " Mommy? ...Mommy?! Mommy?! Wake up! Please! Mommy! " Then I started calling the maids and daddy. We took her to the hospital.

~Sometime Later... (Still Flashback)~

Me and daddy were sitting down, waiting in the " Waiting Room ". I looked at dad. He seemed scared, but not as much as me. My whole body was shaking and my heart was racing. " D-Daddy...mommy is gonna be okay, r-right? " I asked, worriedly.

It took a while for my dad to reply. " I-I-I don't know sweetie. Let's just pray for your mother's health. " He replied. I nodded.

A few moments later, a doctor came up to us. " Excuse me, are you the husband and daughter of Layla Heartfilia? " He asked us. Me and dad stood up. We both nodded.

" How is she? " Dad asked him.

" Well, it seems that her sickness has gotten worse. She needs to get surgery right away. Is that okay? " My dad nodded. I nodded too.

~A Few Hours Later...~

The doctor came up to us again, but this time, a nurse was next to him. He had a frown on his face (the doctor). Me and dad stood up. " What's wrong doctor? Were you able to save my wife? " Dad asked.

He looked down and then looked back at dad. " I'm so sorry...it's too late...we weren't able to help her. I'm sorry to inform you this...but...she's...dead... " He replied. His words made my heart skip a beat. My eyes widen. " You may see her. This way please. " He added, leading us the way.

We walked into the room where mommy was. She was lying in bed and she had a bed sheet on her, from her toes to her face. Tears started coming down from my cheeks. I couldn't take it anymore. I ran over to her and I cried my eyes out. There is no way that she is dead! She's not gone! I just know it!

Sometime later, the doctor gave dad her belongings. Like her clothes, her watch, her pony tail and other stuff. I was still crying, but my dad wasn't. He seemed really sad. Then the doctor kneeled infront of me. He handed my a sealed envelope. " This is for you. " He said.

" *Sniff, Sniff* F-For m-me? " I asked, staring at the envelope. He nodded. I took the envelope. I fell to my knee's, crying even more than before. Is she really gone...?

~End Of Flashback~

Up to this day, I still haven't opened that letter. Plus, I don't even remember where I put it. Maybe...it was best that I didn't open the letter. I stared at the clouds again. Tears started coming down on my face. Whenever I looked outside my window or look at the sky, I would start crying...but other times, I just try to hold it in...because when ever I looked at the sky...it reminds me of my mother. Then I hear my phone ringing. I wiped my tears with my hand and I stood up. I grabbed my phone and then I accidentally bumped this box and it fell on the floor. And it opened and made a mess on the floor. Shoot! I put my phone on my bed and I kneeled down on the floor to pick up the stuff that was on the floor. I picked up the lid of the box and it says, " Box of Memories ". Then I picked up the box thing and I put it aside. As I picked up the stuff, I realized that these were just some old tests, and some photo's of when I was little. Then, I saw a picture of me and my mom when she was still alive. I picked it up and I took closer look at it. I sighed as I continued picking up the other stuff. I put it in the box and there was something that I forgot to put in it. It was an envelope. I picked it up and at one corner, it says, " To: Lucy  From: Mom ".  And it looked like mom's hand writing. I turned around and the seal was still on it.

So this is...mom's letter...
