A/N: Short chapter cause the next chapter is quite long

For once the school day raced by, and after lunch Nino quietly switched places with Alya, citing the need to be closer to the board as his glasses had suddenly broken. Chloé had obviously kicked up another fuss and tried to make Marinette swap seats with her, but Adrien had grabbed her around the shoulders and said cheerfully,
"Sorry, she's stuck with me today!"
Marinette spent the rest of said day as red as Nathanael's hair, and for once Mrs.Bustier had exhibited some powers of intuition and had not asked her nor Adrien any questions during the class. When the final bell rang, Marinette waved goodbye to Adrien, elated with her progress, and walked home with Alya. The walk mainly consisted of her squealing about Adrien and how Nino had switched seats with her. Alya laughed at her friends giddiness and said that the seat swapping might have benefited both of them. Marinette looked at her questioningly and said,
"What do you mean Alya?"
Alya blushed a little and muttered,
"Maybe I-I'm going on a date with Nino next Saturday...."
Marinette stopped still in the street and gawped at her best friend. Then she grabbed her around the waist, jumped up and down and screamed,
"ALYA! GOOD FOR YOU, YOU DESERVE IT!"
Alya blushed a deeper shade of red and giggled at Marinette's excitement. They continued walking while she badgered her for more details, and when they reached Marinette's house Alya promised to tell her the rest tomorrow.
Marinette waved goodbye to her friend as she walked inside and upstairs to do her homework.
Tikki flew out of her bag and remarked on what a successful day it had been, making Marinette glow in response. She worked on some Maths equations before her patrol alarm beeped. She put away her books and said to Tikki,
"Are you sure I should tell him?"
Her kwami responded immediately.
"I have never been so sure of anything in my life."
