I knew I would have to come home. I didn't bring a lot with me when the Institute was chasing me. I had to travel light. I expected to find Alex waiting there for me, but I didn't expect Jayden to be waiting for me..

*Jayden

I never thought I would find Kat. She looks different, like she tried to change, or to hide. She looks thinner in her black skinny jeans and her black jacket. She had new boots with knives in them and her brown hair had been dyed auburn. She had a french braid running down her back and her makeup was done beautifully. "Long time no see," I said.

"Yes it has," she said.

"You never came back."

"You never came to get me. I waited and I waited for you and Alex to come and get me but you never did. You never came to see if I was ok I got taken by them and I was tortured and tortured until I was close to dead. I told them that you guys were coming to get me and I was heartbroken when you didn't." She was on the verge of tears, but I knew she was to strong to cry. I thought she was stronger than that but then I realized we hurt her more than any wound she ever had. I saw a tear or two escape from her eyes.

*Kat

I was crying. I didn't realize I was until my vision got got blurry and I felt a tear roll down my cheek. Jayden got up, walked over, and wiped it away. That was when I realized that Alex wasn't with him.

"Where's Alex?" I asked with an urgency in my voice.

"I don't know," he said walking into the kitchen. "But thats why im here. I need your help and your not gonna like it."

"Why not?"

"Because, last time I saw your twin," he said with a pause. "We were at the Institute."
