Zoe, has seemed to not remember me and the past few months we spent together. I spent the past few weeks helping her to try to get her memory back, I showed her many pictures of us and brought her to places I took her to. She seems to remember some of the surroundings to places I have taken her to before.
"Becky you should rest. You have spent too much of your time being there for Zoe and not taking care of yourself. You were more injured than Zoe. Zoe just got a few cuts and bruises with memory lost, while, you had huge cut on your forehead and your leg broken with a huge piece of glass in it. You need to be there for yourself too. "said Becky
"Not now Becky. I could of have lost her." I said
"Yeah you could have lost her and we could have lost you, but doesn't mean you do everything for her." Said Becky
"I love her; I need to be there for her." I said
"I know loving someone in that way doesn't come easy for you but she will start taking you for granted." Said Becky
"I think she still loves me." I said
"Remember you are stranger to her still." Said Becky
"I am going to tell her we were not friends but more." I said
I walked out the apparentment before Becky replied. I made my way to Zoe's house. I called to her front door, her mum answered it.
"Hi is Zoe there?" I asked
"Oh yeah she is." Said Zoe's mum
"Zoe!" Shouted Zoe's mum
"It is really great that you have been here for Zoe, she really needs a friend." Said Zoe's mum
Zoe came to the door.
"Hey wanna come out?" I said
"Sure." Said Zoe
Zoe and I walked around her town. I showed Zoe more pictures but pictures of us kissing and cuddling. Zoe looked at me
"What were we together?" asked Zoe
"Yes, we were a couple and were three months going out before the explosion." I said
"Oh, sorry I don't remember." Said Zoe
My heart sank into my chest; I was hoping Zoe was going to say she felt something for us but she didn't.
"Hey don't look so dim, I will try for us to be us again, I feel a strong connection with you and I thought you were cute." Said Zoe
I smiled. Zoe Grabbed my hand. We walked around and talked. Before Zoe went back into her house, she leaned in a kiss me.
I went back home. Becky was sitting there waiting for me.
"Thanks for walking out on me. For someone on crutches you can walk pretty fast." Said Becky
"Sorry." I said
"So how did it go?" Asked Becky
"Well she said she didn't remember us, but she said she'd try and she kissed me." I said
"How long did the Doctor say that it could take up to for her memory to come back?" asked Becky
"A month or so." I said
"It is almost a month and she still hasn't her memory back and especially after everything you have done to try and her, are you sure she isn't playing you?" said Becky
"Becky she wouldn't do something like that." I said
"I just hope you are sure." Said Becky
My phone started to ring, it was an unknown number. I answered it
"Hello?" I said
"Hello is this Danielle Gillian?" asked the voice
"Yes speaking." I said
"Hello this is Doctor Jacobs, I was just wondering could you please come into the hospital tomorrow morning." Said the Doctor
"Oh hi, why do you want me to come in tomorrow?" I asked concerned
"Ms I want to talk to you, can you please come in?" said the Doctor.
"Okay, I will be there at 9am." I said
"Okay thanks, goodbye." Said the Doctor
"Bye." I said as I hung up the phone
"What was that all about?" asked Becky
"It was my Doctor he wants me to come into tomorrow to talk about something." I said
"Talk about what." Asked Becky
"I don't know he wouldn't say, I am scared." I said
"Do you want me to come in with you?" Asked Becky
"But you have to go to class tomorrow." I said
"You are more important." Said Becky
"Oh aww, it you want to." I said
Becky and I went into the hospital together, we waited in the waiting room.
"Ms Danielle Gillian."
I got up and went up to the female nurse calling my name. Becky followed. We went into a room and there was Doctor Jacobs.
"Hello Ms." Said Doctor Jacobs as he shook my hand.
"Please have a sit." Said Doctor Jacobs
I sat down and Becky sat beside me.
"Ms Gillian I think it would be best if I spoke to you alone." Said the Doctor
"No she is fine." I said
"Okay, well Ms Gillian we have found from results, that you look like you are entering second stage of breast cancer." Said the Doctor
