Dumb Luck

The girl shrugged and reached behind her, pulling out something that looked like a gun. My eyes grew wide as she aimed it at me, and I turned and began to run as best I could. She's going to FREAKING murder me! I'm too young to die!
And then came the familiar prick of a needle from a dart, and I was down.
...
I woke up again, this time in what looked like a hospital bed. I tried to sit up, but found that both my hands and feet were restrained. I laid back down, there was nothing I could do. Almost at that moment, the girl walked in, with the boy in tow.
"What do you want from me?" I asked, anger evident in my voice.
"We aren't going to hurt you or your dog. We just need to run some tests, ask a few questions."
I glared at them suspiciously. Perhaps this had to do with the spheres of light and the strange meadow. If that was the case, then I wanted to get answers to my questions first.
"Why am I here?"
The girl looked at the boy. "Why don't I let Danny tell this one? He's kind of the reason you're here."
Danny shuffled from one foot to the other, looking extremely uncomfortable under my unceasing glare. Needless to say I didn't let up on it. It was him that had brought me to this place, TSS or whatever.
"Um, well you're in the Sphere Society. We're more widely known as TSS, but that's not important at the moment. We are a sort of.. median between the Sphere world and our own. You see, the Spheres are these large globes of light. Or that's what they look like anyway, but they're actually living organisms. They watch over our world if... that's how you would describe it. They use Earth as a sort of base for their operations. It's where they send the injured and sick Spheres to recuperate, in a meadow-ish looking place where they can rest. They are overseen by a very trusted TSS agent. He speaks the language of the Spheres, and only in their language. That way we don't have to worry about any information getting leaked to anyone."
Hold on. A meadow? A man that speaks in a strange language? Well that explains a lot! I must have somehow found my way into their medical base, but how I had no idea. Just my dumb luck, no doubt.
"So we try to help them as much as possible." Danny continued. "Their enemies are attempting to take over all of Space and Time, and that wouldn't exactly be, um, good. This week they somehow infiltrated the Meadow and began to corrupt the Spheres that were injured there. Luckily Amos, the man that watches over them, found out. When he intervened he was turned to stone, but the Shadows were scared enough to withdrawal themselves. The Spheres in the meadow are unstable at the moment, so the portal won't close down. Something disturbed the Meadow today and the power from the Spheres because of the disturbance turned Amos back to flesh and blood. But his words are a bit scrambled and we can't understand what happened. All we could get from him was that a gi-" The dark haired girl stepped in at that point, gaze disapproving as she glared at the boy.
"That information is classified at the moment. What idjit here was supposed to eventually wind down to was that we built a wall in front of the portal and set up base around the meadow. He somehow FORGOT to check the security cameras to make sure no one was out front when he opened the wall to get out. Which is how we found you, sitting right on our front porch with that big dog of yours. We had to knock you out and bring you inside, but as you know you didn't stay knocked out long enough to be transported back outside. And, apparently, the memory wipe didn't work on you. You also seem to have a mysterious strength to you.." She eyed me up and down, making me shift uncomfortably.
"Well.." I began.
