"Bethany Wildred, Please come to the office" The speaker said. I quickly stood up and made my way to the office.
When I arrived, Mr. Spooner was sitting in his chair, a green eyed girl sitting in one of the chairs opposite to Mr. Spooner. "Have a seat Ms. Wildred." He spat. "As you may know," he started. "There has been a crime at the school."
I didn't know this. But I knew that I was the main suspect because of my eyes. Red means evil, evil means danger. Every time something bad happens they accuse me. I got the wrong eye color but they don't believe me.
"Bethany," Mr. Spooner continued. "You are the prime suspect. But I need to ask a few questions" See? Called it.
"Okay sure, but what's little miss green eyed doing here?" I said, pointing to blondy with her perfect ponytail so slick back it looks like it hurt. Her eyes as green as grass.
There's one advantage of being red eyed. You can say anything you want and they can't get you in trouble for it.
"I'm the eye witness." Said the green eyed girl. "So it talks." I mumbled but loud enough for them to hear me. Not to be rude to little miss perfect or anything, but holy cow her voice was high pitched. She sat up, brushed her perfect little mini skirt off, shook my hand and said "my name is Amanda. I'm here to help you with your case."
"What was that all about?" My best friend Stephanie asked as we walked to our dorm after school. Her eyes were purple. "Oh it's just Mr. Spooner being a crap head again." Stephanie gave a look to me that said really?
"What do you have against spooner anyways? He's not that bad of a guy."
"Are you kidding? Are we even talking about the same guy? He accuses me of everything!"
"Well that's because your the only red eyed in the school!"
This time it was my turn to give her the look. "Yes but there's still purple. They to have red in them."
"That's different. They also have everything else."
I unlocked the door to our dorm and threw my bag on the couch and collapsed on my bed. Spooner is a little butthead who has a habit of giving me stress.
The only thing I've ever wanted since I got my eye color was to prove to him that just because my eyes are red doesn't mean I'm evil. But of course he's one of those people who believe only they are right. His eyes are hazel. As you can tell.
My eyes were meant to be purple. It's obvious considering I'm very moody. The school Bell rang for dinner and I sprung from my bed and rushed out the door, knocking over Stephanie who had done the same. We're both starved.
