Irene POV:
Luhan left along with that girl. For some reason I feel some form of ache in my heart. This can't be jealousy! Right? I went to find Sehun. He was with his friends....... brothers............. I actually never asked what they are to him. They just kinda hang around.
I ended up running into a tall figure with blond hair similar to Sehun's. He stood up and looked at me.
"I'm sorry." I said.
"No. I'm sorry. I should have been paying attention. You're the new girl right?" He said.
"Yeah. I'm Irene." I smile.
"I'm Tao."
"I'm looking for Sehun. Do you know where I can find him?"
"Yeah follow me."
Tao takes me to a far end of the palace..... thing. He opened a flower curtain to reveal a small patio. It seriously looked like paradise. I smiled at him and ran toward him.
"Hey Irene. What's up?" He smiled.
"Nothing really." (@taehyungallery )He looked up from where he was sitting and smiled at me.
"I just wanted to talk with somebody." I said, peeking through my lashes.
"Hmm...that should be ok, I still have about an hour before I need to harness the next gusts of winds." He looked at me expectantly.
"You know why I'm here, right? I just want to know a couple of things. I've been extremely confused, scared, and creeped out ever since I've just appeared in this place. " Tears threatened to leak out of my eyes.
"People decided I was worthy of sacrifice. WHY? WHY ME? I din't deserve this." I looked at Sehun during my ranting. "No offence... you guys have been really nice to me, but I don't understand many things."
Sehun looked at me sympathetically, and patted my hand.
"Ok, Irene, I know that you have mixed feelings about coming here. Everybody has just been quite secretive about it, because it is strictly confidential information."
"In simpler terms, you can't be killed, but you can be wounded forever. " He bowed his head. "Well, we have been trying our best to keep you hidden. If they find out about you, they can hurt you very very very bad. You might be split in agonizing pain forever."
" there is no guaranteeing that you'll be safe. Just embrace this new life, please.So, basically, the whole story is, once you have been sacrificed, there's no going back. Unless...nevermind." he shook his head.
"What? There's a way I can go back? And who's they?" I pressed.
Sehun just shook his head, clearly annoyed that I was not taking this in stride. "Well, that I cannot tell you. Now, I'll be going. See you at dinner."
I sighed, and watched his lean figure walk out the patio. I'll just have to figue things out on my own then. If I was going to live in this new world, better get used to it now!
I left the patio as well, off to find something to do. Oddly, as I left the patio, there seemed to be a set of eyes on my back....
Luhan POV:
"Hey Minzy," I smiled at the goddess next to me, clearly trying to hard to get my attention.
