UNDERTALE {Completed}

The core..

Anger filled your thoughts, blocking out any misdirected thoughts and leading them to the dump, while you walked through the very bright passage to the cores room.

You had to stop when Alphys phoned you to warn you about the lasers up ahead and helped shut them off for you. You thanked her and carried on through the maze of walkways.

You once looked over the edge to see nothing but white. You were guessing this was the void, Sans had talked about. It, for some reason sent chills down your spine. It felt like someone was watching you from deep down inside the void. You decided to look away and continue to find the room.

You swore you found it, infront of you just a path down but as the idiot you are you went down the wrong path and were lost again. You screamed a few times into the nothingness in anger to help calm yourself down when you remembered that Alphys was watching you... So she saw the whole thing. You flushed in embarrassment and kept quiet for the rest of the way.

When you finally made it to the core room Mettaton stopped you.

"No Mettaton! C'mon! I just got here! Don't make me do another show!" You whined.

Mettaton just stared at you before telling you the whole reason why you were here and why he kept showing up. Alphys must have heard because right away as Mettaton said it she started banging on the door on the other side. Mettaton smiled.

"Now that it is just you and me darling, I've decided we would make this more interesting...~!" He exclaimed.

You groaned from being tired and told him you didn't want to show off for his fans but he made you anyway. He pulled you into a battle as the floor you were standing on flew way up into the sky. Mettaton said he wanted more combat in his show so that's what happened..

You barely fought, you just dodged and when you began to become tired you noticed a switch on Mettaton's back. You decided to flip it when Mettaton was backward and all you heard from him was a loud.

"DONT TOUCH MEEEEEEE!" Then everything went black.

When the lights came back on Mettaton was nowhere to be seen, unless... There was a tall feminine looking robot in front of you, grinning mischievously.

"I see you wanted the REAL me.. Huh?" It spoke, it sounded a lot like Mettaton. Alphys phoned you, sounding a bit embarrassed.

"T-that's.. Uh... M-Mettaton.. EX.." You just about dropped your phone.

"THERES AN EX?!?" You screamed at Alphys, angrily.

"Y-yes..." She said in a sorta sad voice.

You slammed your phone shut and spent the next hour fighting "Mettaton EX" but of course when you say fighting you meant dodging his attacks and trying to spare him.

It was a matter of time that you noticed that he wouldn't accept your mercy and that you had to beat him by impressing his crowd. You posed dramatically and the background voice called out. "+900 drama!" You continued this till you got to over the 10,000 rating and Mettaton's arms had fallen off and he powered down from battery loss. At first you thought you had killed him and broke out into tears saying how sorry you were and that you didn't mean it before Alphys came in and told you he was alright.

You wiped your eyes and straightened yourself up before heading out and to the kingdom. You walked the gray path, looking over the peals if the path at the village below. You made your way to a small house, which looked a lot like Toriels.. But somehow.. Sadder.

You walked in to see a lock on the stairs with a small note:

I'm just in the garden! Key is in the kitchen and hallway.

You went to the hallway and grabbed the green key, clipping it onto your phone before carrying on.

You walked through the bedrooms when there you were met with a bunch of monsters. Every time you'd walk beside one of the monsters they'd tell you a different part of a story, you carried on down the stairs to be greeted by many more with other parts of the story.

You walked across another gray path of the kingdom and were told the rest of the story and when you finished you sat up against the wall and pieced the story together, tears falling like a river down your cheeks from the past of the underground:

A long time ago..
A human fell into the RUINS..
Injured by its fall the human called out for help..
Asriel, the kings' son, heard the humans call..
He brought the human back to the castle..
Over time, Asriel and the human became like siblings..
The king and queen treated the human child as their own..
The underground was full of hope..
Then...
One day...
The human became very ill..
The sick human had only one request..
To see the flowers from their village..
But there was nothing we could do..
The next day..
The next day..
...
The human died...
Asriel, wracked with grief, absorbed the humans soul..
He transformed into a being with incredible power..
With the human soul, Asriel crossed through the barrier..
He carried the humans body into the sunset..
Back to the village of humans..
Asriel reached the center of the village..
There, he found a patch of golden flowers..
He carried the human onto it..
Suddenly, screams rang out..
The villagers saw Asriel holding the human's body..
They thought that he had killed the child..
The humans attacked him with everything they had..
He was struck with blow after blow..
Asriel had the power to destroy them all..
But..
Asriel did not fight back..
Clutching the human..
Asriel smiled and walked away..
Wounded, Asriel stumbled home..
He entered the castle and collapsed..
His dust spread across the garden..
The kingdom fell into despair..
The king and queen had lost two children in one night..
The humans had once again taken everything from us..
The king decided it was time to end our suffering..
Every human who falls down here must die..
With enough souls, we could shatter the barrier forever..
It's not long now..
King Asgore will let us go..
King Asgore will give us hope..
King Asgore will save us all..
You should be smiling, too..!
Aren't you excited..?
Aren't you happy..?
You're going to be free..!

You wiped your eyes and got back up, pushing back your grief and heading to the judgement hall. You wondered who you would meet there and if they would kill you, but when you walked in there was nobody there.. Just calm, quiet music playing.

You continued down the hallway before you saw a shadow. You squinted your eyes to see, but could only make an outline.. You tried matching it with some of your short friends, and it took you aback when it matched Sans..
