"We finally did it daisy! We're done with high school!" Abigal yells as she hugs me. It was just after our graduation ceremony and everybody was celebrating. Its been 4 long fun years in high school im super glad to be out but ill definitely miss it.
"I know, i know its crazy i feel like we're still in 9th grade drooling over liam." I say laughing. Liam was the hottest guy in our grade. Tall, tan, brownhair and the most meltworthy abbs around. Not to mention he was insanly funny and super sweet.
"Speaking of the devil." Abigal teases as liam strolls over. We ended up becoming really good friends- Liam, Abigal, and I that year. After getting to know him, he started becoming more like a brother to us so the attraction was replaced with a sibling-like love. Maybe it was because he was always off limits with his continuous line of girlfriends.
"By devil you mean totally hot, incredible guy right?" Liam smirks and nudges us. We both roll our eyes and the three of us walk off to meet up with the rest of our class. That was our crew all through high school. We've been through just about everything together.
We walk to meet abbys parents. Abby has some family issues with her crazy mom (lynn) and her dad (brody) constanlty being gone on 'business trips' (everybody knows hes with his very young girlfriend in Chicago but nobody in her family brings it up). So anyway that's why shes always at my house, its now like a second home to her. So we were very suprised to see her mom and dad together at the graduation. They dressed up but you could tell her mom had been crying and her hair wasn't done and her dad had some faded hickys on his neck that I'm sure lynn didn't put there.
We left Abby with her parents and liam and I walked to the food table where his mom and my mom are talking. They're holding drinks and laughing. They've been friends for most of high school since Liam and i hang out so much. Liams dad died when he was 7 and he and his moms relationship is decent but he likes talking to my dad. Theres been so many times where ill come looking for liam and hes watching football with my dad when he was supposed to be getting us food. Im glad he can have a man figure in his life though.
"Awww my babies, you two look so grown up" my mom coos as she hugs us both and Liam's smiles at us. "Is Liam coming with us to see your college dorm?" Mom asks. I look at him and get a shrug so i say "Sure lets go."
We start walking towards the big parking lot when we hear someone yelling for all graduates to come by the fountain for a picture. Mr. Dobbin, the old, bald math teacher was herding people with a big black camera around his neck. He wasn't my favorite but he was alright, you never really joked with him but he wasn't mean. He caught us and motioned for us to come over. I find a spot towards the front because im considered short (Even though i believe 5'4 is perfectly tall), and liam and his 6'4-foot-self goes in the back. Im standing next to Becky and Morgan, they both smile at me and while mr. Dobbin rounds up more people, morgan asked what college im going to.
"Ohio State, what about you?" I originally wanted go to college in Illinois where i live but idecided ohio had a better nursing program and i got a small scholarship so i chose there. "Nice! Im going to Illinois community college" morgan says. Morgan was very into dramma and it dosnt suprise me thst she didnt get very good grades, im actually surprised shes even going to college. Most of high school she said shes moving to Florida with her older boyfriend Mark. I was going to ask her about but decided against it.If she changed her plans something probably happened between them.
Now Mr. Dobbin is yelling for us to squish in and smile. I cross my arms and smile. After he gets i think like 10 pictures where theres probably 6 people either making a dumb face or closing there eyes in all of them, liam and finally meet my mom by our car. Liam waves to his mom as shes driving away.
"So are we meeting there?" I ask, knowing liam has his car and i rode with mom here. "Ill ride with liam", my mom agrees and we set off to ohio which is 45 minuets away.
"Do you know which room you get yet?" Liam asked while pulling out of our schools parking lot. A big red truck zooms past us revving his engine annoyingly loud. I look as he passes and realize its Tony Brahm, the schools biggest jock. We daited in 10th grade for a week then he broke up with me becsuse i wouldnt sleep with him. He got a scholarship to some college a few hours away for football but I'm sure he'll ruin it with his partying. He came to a practice high and drunk once and almost got kicked off the team.
"No, we're supposed to get it in the mail this week. There's a demo room we can look at though. I heard that we have one roommate and we can trade the first week, but after that its set untill the next semester." Liam nods and I turn up the music. We sing along to Eminem and 50 cent until we reach my dorm.
"Pretty nice place" Liam says as we walk in. We get greeted by a girl with maps and a name tag. She babbles on about the profits of getting the annual parking pass but I just grab the map, thank her and walk away.the map says the demo is A1 which I assume is the very first apartment.
We find it and after a group of 4 guys walk out, one of them smiling at me, we walk into the living room. It has a tv stand in the back with a love seat and a comfy looking chair and the kitchen is behind the couch. It was pretty nice. New looking stove and dishwasher, nice fridge and decent counter space. The rooms were on each side and they had a queen size bed and a nice desk and closet. The bathroom was nice, very standard I loved the big shower. After Liam made a sexual remark about shower opportunities with the big shower, we left the dorm.
On our way out we looked around campus a little and I seen this amazingly hot guy. He had dark jeans with grey tee shirt, dark brown, messy looking hair, dark eyes and was tall. He was with another guy (shorter, blonde and brown eyes) and they were laughing. As I walked by the blonde one winked.
Liam nudged me when he caught me staring. "Found a new price of meat?"
"Your disgusting" I elbow him and we walk to his car.
