PROMISE

Chapter 1

Hey guys ;) I wish you would like my story PROMISE... first of all this is my first time to make a story and publish it :) Please Appreciate my Story and Thank you For Reading it :))

"Shane Watch out!" I looked upon who shouted at me but then it was too late. Something hit me which was so painful as hell.

"Fudge! Shane I'm so sorry!" I saw Ellie, my bestfriend saying sorry.. oh she must be the one who hit me with the ball. And with that I passed out.

Meanwhile

"Shane? Shane! Are you okay?" Ellie said with a caring face looking at me.

"Uhh I'm fine. I just feel a little dizzy" then i stand up but literally almost fell down but luckilly Ellie was there to catch me.

"I'm so sorry Shane. I didn't mean to hit you with a baseball bat" said in a cracked up voice. Yeah she hit me with a baseball bat..

"It's really fine Ells, It was just a baseball bat.. which was pretty painful" i said shaking my head.

"I'm really so Sorry Shane." She said with a cracked voice that's almost gonna cry. But then she turned cheerful.

"But don't worry Shaney. I promise to give you an ice cream someday. Which I'm gonna fullfill it today" she told me with a very exciting voice. This is why I love her.

"Ah ah ah. I don't really go with promises and you know that right?" I said to her.

"Yeah yeah I know You don't believe in Promises." She rolled eyes at me.

Hey! By the way the name's Shane. Shane McFlurry. And....... I don't believe in Promises. Promises are always broken. They have broken me. Before. My mom said that to me before.

Flashback

"Shane my dear, i need to go out and buy some groceries." She said in a cracked up voice.

" But Mommy, Daddy's not here" I said in a pout.

"And momm, why are you bringing lots of bags?" I asked.

"I-uh.. Mommy brought a lot of bags so that the food I"ll bring for us could fit in my bag" she said.

"Oh okay mommy, take care. But Promise me you would come back fast okay?"

"Yes dear, i will come back for you................... someday" she kissed my forehead and went out.

But then she didn't come back for me.. until I cried and cried for hours knowing she might not come back and I'm all alone in the house. But then at night dad went home with a confused look in his face.

But after that I knew then that they weren't in good terms. Until then Dad was searching for her. Not that he still loves her and wants her to come back. But to have divorce. But He didn't find her.

Sometimes I thought that mom died or something, but I don't really care anymore. She broke my heart and she broke our promise.

And after that a few years later, when I was 13 years old then. My dad got cancer, a stage 4 cancer which was so depressing. I thought of killing myself before because I have no Idea if he would be gone.

It was in the hospital when something hiddeous and terrifying happened and broke my heart a million times than mom did.

"Daad... Please don't die I can't Imagine living without you. I'd probably die than living in this world" i said with a cry.

"Shane I won't die. Not now, and please don't kill yourself. You have still a lot to learn in this world. I know it wouldn't be easy if I'd be gone. But Shane Dear, I'll be over there watching you" he said pointing up

"Dad, just promise me not to leave me.. just not today, please I have a lot to tell you" i said with a sobb.

"Sure dear I promise. Now tell me everything.. I love you Shane You mean the world to me" and he kissed me in the forehead.

And I told him about all the mistakes and said sorry for what I've done before.. but until i finished my story, i haven't noticed he stopped moving. He said that he promised not to leave me even just for that day.

But I don't blame him. I love him.
He is the BEST dad in whole world.

And that's why i don't believe in PROMISES.

End of Flashback

"Shane You spacing out again?" Ellie asked me. With a Frown.

"Are you even listening to me?" She said.

"I ummmm hehehe sorry?" I said with a wink.

"Huuuh You're always do this" she said shaking her head.

"Anyways let's go now.. TO THE ICE CREAM LAND!" She said plastering the excitment in her face.

I LOVE HER.
