The Ex

After spending ten minutes finding a job they could do together they find themselves on their way out but right when they are in front of the door, moving to open it, the guild doors open and hit lucy in the head causing her to fall. As she was on the ground she looks up and sees.... Him. The guy who took her heart, the guy who made her feel love just for him to break her heart in a million peices. All lucy could think is, Its him... i can't believe he is right in front of me! Its him.. Its him... Its him....... Its h..i..m..

Suddenly lucy's thoughts were broken by a tan, muscular hand snapping in front of her face. She slowly looks up and sees natsu looking down at her with eyes full of worry ans concern.

"Are you ok luce?", After clearing her head she says, " yeah, I'm fine, just got hit that's all." but even with her saying that natsu could see her trying not to burst in tears, not knowing its because shes seeing her ex-lover Again.

Hearing the word "Luce", he gets the instant feeling its her so the stranger asks "Lucy? is that you?" with those words lucy and natsu realized he is still standing there, not seeing the tears forming in his eyes. Suddenly natsu gets the feeling that this mystery guy is the reason the girl he is in lo- is friends with is close to tears, grabs the caller of the guys shirt and shouts," HOW DO YOU KNOW LUCY?" Unconsciously grabbing the attention of the whole guild, who are silently listening.

Seeing this lucy wispers, "Natsu, calm down."

He turns his head to her and asks, "Do you know him?" With those words triggering memories in Lucy's head of all the times they were together, the good, the bad and the ones she wishes to forget.

* Flashback...

"Takehiko!! Takehiko!! Where are you?" Shouted a 5 year blond who's looking behind tree's, under bushes and then behind a giant bolder when...

"Boo!!!"

Scaring her so much she jumps and screams,"AHHHHH!"

Seeing her face the little boy starts to laugh, "Haha, lucy you should of seen your face it was so funny!!"

The little boy still laughing and holding his stomach rolling on the grass and dirt trying to breath. Seeing how hard he's laughing, lucy slightly turning red screams, "THAT WAS NOT FUNNY TAKEHIKO!!!" than turns to leave with small tears going down her cheeks.

Takehiko seeing the tears and feeling guilty, grabs little lucy's arm pulls her back and says, "I'm sorry lucy i didn't mean to make you cry."

Not being able to stay angry at him for long says, "it's ok, we'll be friends forever... right?"

Not taking a second to even think he replies with, " yeah friends forever and ever!!"

(still flashback) 9 years later...

In the backyard of Lucy's mansion at 5pm you can see two 14 year-olds standing in front of each other, at this moment the boy grabs her hands and nervously asks, "Hey, l-lu-cy i was w-wonde-ring if you-yo- you would gooutwithme?"

A little confused lucy says,"huh?"

Taking a couple deep breaths, Takehiko repeats with more confidence "Would you go out with me?"

So happy that he finally asked her out, lucy jumps up and wraps her arms around his neck and shouts in peer joy, "YES I would love to!!!!"

(still flashback) 1 year passed...

The 15 year old girl is skipping through the high school halls looking for her boyfriend to spend lunch with him and than she hears sounds...she opens the janitor door... and than... she finally found him...

.
KISSING ANOTHER GIRL!!!

She wishes she could say she ran and never looked back but all she did was stare, seeing him wrapping his arms around a tall burnett girl and her kissing him back with passion she never gave him. With all the things she's seeing, she can't stop the tears threating to fall out of her eyes.

Finally after what seems likes years she says in a heart broken tone, "Takehiko?"

Hearing her the pair break apart and sees her, Takehiko knowing what she saw immediately says, "Lucy?... LUCY ITS NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!!!"

With all the sadness leaving and the anger taking over she yells with all her might, "NEVER TALK TO ME AGAIN!!"

With those final words she storms off and never seeing each other again.

flashback ended...*

Well, until...

Now...

"Takehiko, " the celestial mage claims sadly with a tint of anger.
