Chapter 1

My mom, Sharon and Mrs. Katie have been friends since high school. At the end of Junior year my moms family moved to Maryland. They stayed in touch over the phone and through social medias and when my mom heard Mrs. Katie and her family were moving to Maryland she was over the moon. She was even more excited when she found out Mrs. Katie has a son who's only a month older than me. When Caleb and I first met we were 2. We were having dinner at the Leblanc's new home. And by we, I mean the parents. Caleb was napping and I was playing with some of Caleb's toys in his playpen. After the adults were done Mrs. Katie held me for a bit. She held me carefully to make sure I didn't accidently hit her growing stomach. Since Mrs. Katie was holding me, my mom went to go get Caleb, who was know fully awake and crying. I was already using (somewhat) understandable full sentences and Caleb was merely throwing whatever words he wanted together. I don't remember but my mom said when we first saw each other we threw our arms around each other. Mrs. Katie said that's when she knew we were gonna be best friends.
