Lucy Pov

I trudge down stairs an into the kitchen to see Kelly & Seth trying to cook some weird pastry thing "hey losers" I mutter grabbing a water bottle from the fridge "hey sis, wanna help us?" Kelly ask perkily as Seth wraps his arms around her waist and kisses her cheek "no thanks, I have to go back to isolation in my room" I said bitterly.

"Lucy, you've barely left your room for almost a month, maybe you should go get some fresh air or do something" Kelly says frowning looking concerned, I snort an went to my room, I had a shower and changed into jeans, a tank top and converses before I get Jayden, Liam & Clare and we left to the beach.

I sat on the sand building a sand castle with Clare as the boys went for a swim "attack" I hear someone yell before I was being sat on by Kelly, I tense when I see Seth, Embry, Jacob & Ness walking over. I bite Kelly's arm causing her to jump to her feet "you bitch!, biting isn't nice" Kelly shrieks as I sit up an smirk at her "hey Lucy" Ness says perkily "hey Ness, how've you been?" I ask standing up an giving her a hug.

"Good, yourself?" She asks smiling but before I could say anything Clare jumps onto my back "Lu helped me turn my bedroom in a fortress of awesomeness, I have a unicorn" Clare says smugly "Clare, writing uni on a piece of corn does not make it a unicorn" I said amused "yes it does!, shut up" She says huffing as Kelly grabs her off my back.

I had a strange feeling that someone was watching us but I shook it off and decided to go for a swim, Jayden tries to wrestle with me but I kick his ass. After a few hours I lay on the sand enjoying the sun "Lucy?" I kept my eyes shut as I felt my stomach twist "what do you want?" I mutter bitterly as I sense him sit beside me "how long are you going to pretend to hate me?" He asks sounding miserable.

"What makes you think I'm pretending" I snort "you wouldn't be talking to me if you hated me" He says softly, I open my eyes an sit up "you know I could never hate you" I said rolling my eyes "you haven't said a word to me for almost a month, I miss you" He sighs sadly "I miss you too" I said truthfully.

"Look I'm sorry ok but I'm just not ready to say the L word yet" He says softly "the L word? Are you serious?! You can't even say the word" I snort in annoyance "Lucy please, I need you" He says sighing in frustration "maybe we should just be friends, Embry, you're clearly not ready for a serious relationship" I say in a stern tone as I felt my heart pounding, I just wanted to be in his arms but unless he sorts out how he feels.. I don't wanna be with him.

"Lucy-" I cut him off by standing up and walking away..
