Chapter 1: The Time Vortex and The Lost Friend

( Merlin's P.O.V )

After we went into the portal and came out Christine left to her own realm. Shadow's Bin decided to make a time freezing vortex to give us two years of training while no time has passed outside of it. This was a good idea for a while but now it was just crazy. Shadow lifted the vortex today and now time has resumed for us. A problem with that is we all aged and grew in  there so it is odd for the villagers of Phoenix Drop. Shadow is trying to set up a device that will tell us when a place in a different universe or timeline is invaded by Alex and his to generals Rachel and Endercon( remember them as the assassins from the last book), they now have an army of orcs but we have Kendra and Jordan to help us so it is kinda even on the playing field. Still the vortex also made a tear in our time that might destroy this timeline if Shadow doesn't patch it up. I new it would happen because I can see a bit of the future which is why I did not save Colin, that would mess up the flow of the universe. As long as Aphmau and the others stick to the timeline they are in things will be fine.

Colin's P.O.V.( you thought He was dead didn't you)

I am in a dark room with Rachel. She is guarding me until Alex gets back with the serum that will change me into a dual element weaver. If it works then I will have both Lily's and Sam's powers combined. It will also give him control over my mind. "So this is what it is like to be a prison guard, this is so boring, I mean why does he need you guarded, you can't run away!" Rachel yells at me. We have had conversations about this matter before. I always tell her that he is a smart and secure person, it makes him feel better. Soon I see Alex in the doorway." Colin, this has to work this time, Got it!" Alex yells at me. Soon everything is fuzzy.
