Callie POV

I sit by the ocean exhausted from my three kilometre run. I pull my top to my face and wipe away the sweat. The water look inviting. I take off my shoes, socks and top. I run to the water and dive into the ocean.

When I pop back up Kaiden is on the beach and he screams. "GET OUT OF THE WATER!"

"NO!" I shout.

"This part of the beach is known for rips. That's why most of us spend our time between the flags." He says.

I look around me and say. "I'm fine. There are no rips here. Next time I come in, I'll remember to grab a surf board."

"You can surf?"

I smile. "Yeah, I've been surfing since I was ten. A friend's brother taught me when I refused to get out of the water without lesson. He gave in and I've been in the ocean since."

He shakes his head "Is there anything you can't do?" He asks.

I climb out of the water and grab my top and shoes from the ground. "I don't rock climb, sky dive. I would love to learn to ski."

He crosses his arms. "Rock climb, sky dive, why not?"

I look at the ground and I can feel my face heat up. "I'm afraid of heights."

He takes a step towards me and lifts up my chin. "That's a good enough reason. Do you want to learn to ski?"

"Yes, I would love to learn."

"I'll take you somewhere over Christmas."

"Can you take time off?"

"Yes, I have someone that will take over for a week or two."

"OK, we'll take off for skiing." I say.

"It's a date."

I change into the red dress for Kaiden's party. I curl my blonde hair, letting the ringlets drop around my face. I apply the make-up a little heavier then I usually prefer. My blue eyes pop with the eyeliner around them.

I put on a pair of heels.

"Are you ready?" A muffled voice is heard through the door.

"Yes, I'll be down in a minute."

"See you soon, sis." Jensen says.

I look at myself in the mirror. I'm happy with what I see.

There's heaps of noise coming from the living room. The music is turned down as I make my way to the stairs.

I hold the banister as I make my way down the stairs. All eyes are turned to me.

"You look beautiful," Kaiden says, taking my arm.

"Thank you," I smile at him.

He looks around the room. "Everyone, I want you to meet my girl, Callie Bell."

I wave at everyone in the room. "I'm not your girl." I pull my arm from his.

Kaiden whispers. "Tonight, you are. I don't want you to spend time with any of the guys here alone."

"I won't go anywhere with any of them."

"Dinner is served." A waiter informs us.

"You're sitting between Jensen and me."
