I was in my room packing for the weekend I had planned. My twin brother and I were going to new york city for the weekend. I work at a newspaper in my local town so I needed to take pictures of the city for next weeks issue. I hear a knock on my door and my brother johnny walks in. "Hey Flo" he said. "Whats up johnny? Im almost done packing, where is your bag?" I ask. He stays silent for a little then says "Florence, I cant go anymore. Natalie needs me to take the kids this weekend. But I got someone to go with you, I promise, youll love him, ive known him forever." I sighed and then laughed. Johnny and i were 25 and he already had two kids and an exwife. Johnny brought my bag downstairs and said "he should be here and minute, he picked up the kids for me". I sat down and started to read The Phantom of the Opera for the millionth time. I heard Johnny open the door and saw him hug JJ and Dahlia. Then a tall, thin man with blue eyes walked through the door. "Hey Johnny, how are you?" He said shaking my brothers hand. "Im fine, but here" he said pointing to me "this is my sister Florence. Florence, this is Aaron." I shook the gorgeous mans hand and felt an electric shock run through my spine. I smiled and went to say hello to my niece and nephew. I heard Aaron and Johnny whispering but I didnt know what they were talking about. After we said our goodbyes, Aaron took my suitcase and put it in the trunk of my jeep, then went to get his suitcase from his car. "We will just take my jeep to the train station and leave it there for the weekend. Ok?" He shook his head and smiled. When we pulled out of the neighborhood, I drove to the train station and said "you can put on the radio if you want" "alright, I might just take you up on the offer" he said laughing. I watched as he skipped through the stations, then finding the broadway showtunes station on the radio. He began to sing along and I listened to him for a while before saying "so you can sing huh?" "Well...ya..been on Broadway a couple of times" he smiled at me then looked out the window. "Look, Aaron, I know its awkward. Ya know, spending the weekend with someone you barely know, so if you want to turn around, I will." "No no, its fine, I just want you to be comfortable around me". I looked at him and nodded as we pulled into the train station. He got my bag out of the back and insisted that he carry it. I smiled and said "fine, but im buying the tickets". Halfway through the train ride, I took out my camera and made sure that it worked, I looked at Aaron to say something but noticed that he was asleep. I took a picture before he woke up and then listened to music on my phone while Aaron slept for the rest of the ride.
