School ended and I was walking home. As soon as I arrived at the front door, I greeted my mum but she ignored me, as usual. I went up the stairs to my messy room and I laid down on my bed but as soon as I was going to close my eyes to get some sleep, my phone vibrated. I grabbed it and squinted at the bright light that lit up my face. I received a message from Phil saying "Hey Dan! :D".
It's funny how the littlest thing like a message from someone could brighten up your day. Phil and I started talking for hours and hours about the randomness things and started getting to know each other a little better. Phil was a very vibrant person with such a wonderful personality. He always smiled and was always so positive. I had a feeling of envy.
I'm the complete opposite of him. I'm always depressed, I have no friends, I'm awkward and shy and no one wants to be around me. The only person that I actually care about is Phil but I'm probably nothing to him. It breaks my heart knowing that I could never be with Phil. Anyway, it's not like he's gay.
A numerous amount of thoughts started flowing throughout my mind, keeping me awake. Eventually, my eyelids grew heavy and I fell asleep forgetting, that Phil would be coming over tomorrow.
