Hey guys! here is chapter 1!! hope you like it :D
It was a typical day, waking up, getting ready for school, blalalla
“Annabelle! You’re going to be late!” my mum shouted. I was in the kitchen eating my cereal, it’s taken me half an hour, I must be in the world record for taking the slowest time to eat breakfast.
Just then Charlie comes in and shouts to hurry up, as he’s meant to be giving me a lift and blahblahblah, I’m very good at blocking people out. I finally finish and slowly get my bag as I walk out. I love to annoy my brother!
I met up with my friend Kari and go to class, as we were walking, I saw a person in the corner, covered in black, speaking into his walkie talkie whilst staring at me, it was too weird to explain, he then started to walk away.
“hey Kari, catch you later, I need to go to the loo” I said to my friend, and without waiting for a reply I quickly walked behind this person and followed him. He went inside the heads office, so being the ear wigger, I put my ear against the door and listened.
“ Sir, I’ve seen the two Swifts, they are still safe, and I believe they did not recognise me”
“good, this place is too dangerous for them to be here alone, we must evacuate them”
“ very well, I shall find them and take them to you”
I was still listening, when the door suddenly bursted open and I toppled over onto the ground. I looked up to see the two men looking angry at me, I smiled weakly and got up, brushing the dust off me.
“opps, erm… Wrong room! Well see ya!” I say and start to walk out until that weird man pulled me back in.
“Annabelle, did you hear all of that?” Mr crumbs, my head, said.
“ermm yahnooo… wait I don’t get it though, why am I’m in danger?” I asked confused. Mr Crumbs looked graved
“ there’s no much time, there going to attack! We need back up….” BOOM!!!!!, a massive explosion just came out of nowhere and the whole room started to shake violently. Panicking I grab onto the door as people that looked like ninjas suddenly came down and busted into the room.
“Ninjas… really? Is this some kind of joke?” I say half laughing. They just started at me like I was mad.
“Annabelle, you need to get your brother and go to your wizards lair, I will meet you there” Mr Crumbs said and with a flick of his wand, he was gone. Strange, I never knew he was a wizard! So anyway I quickly ran out, as the ninjas started to attack, but me being me clever self I did a spell.
“Ninja high knee, turn into socks” whoosh! There were socks everywhere across the floor. Laughing to myself I took a pair into my bag… you never know when you might need them!!
As I walked out, the alarm bell started ringing, great, now it’s going to be harder to find Charlie. I got my phone out and started to ring him, he answered on the second ring.
“Charlie! We have to get out, now!”
“what, why? What are you talking about?”
“No time to explain, just meet me inside the wizards lair” I shouted above the screeching noise; people running everywhere, I realised why, I smelt smoke so there probably was a fire!!
As I got into the wizards lair, Charlie was waiting for me, how did he get out quicker than me?? Mr Crumbs was there so he probably explained it to him what was going on.
“Alright Crumbs, what’s happening?” I said leaning on the door frame glaring at Charlie who some reason was looking smug.
“The wizards of the dark west has escaped the force field we put on to protect you, now they’ve escaped, we have no choice but to move to the other side of the world to find the most powerful wand, then we can put them back to where they belong” Crumbs said as he started to ring other wizards out there.
“whoooaah, hang on, we going to move to the other side of the world? Today?!” I exclaimed throwing my hands in the air, causing me to know the vase down.
“Yes we have no choice, its either that, or we die, by ready in 2 hours, your parents know about this, they think it’s the right option too” He said and with a flash of his wand, he was gone. Charlie got up and started walking out of the room. I grabbed him, making him stop.
“Hey let go of me”
“Where are you going?”
“To pack up”
“So we’re actually going where exactly?!” he smirked at me and said “Little sis, we’re going to America”…
