Echo of the Midnight loner

I'll take a whisper

I blink my tears even if they keep coming back and keep my steady rhythm.

"Listen, listen I would take a whisper if that's all you had to give, but it isn't, isn't you could come and save me and try to chase the crazy right out of my head!"

My breathing calms down then I sing the next note,

"I'm out on the edge and I'm screaming my name like fool at the top of my lungs!"

I fall at the sound of a voice.

Im the only person who lives here.

The next house is like 10 miles down the dirt road. My mind is filled with question and my heart is beating from the fear.

"why are you crying I thought I solved your problems the first time we met?" the voice whispers.

I push my self against my table where my computer is. I go to shut off the music but the voice comes back closer this time. If it wasn't pitch black I would be able to see where it is coming from.

"Please tell me you remember me, and don't shut off this song. I remember it quiet well I said this was our song...

Before I left and we danced are last dance..."

I pull my knees to chest and I cry harder from the fear, this voice is scaring me. What is it talking about. It doesn't know me, no one knows me...

"What do you mean..."

The voice is really close I lift my head and am met with a pair of black glassy eyes.

"I have see you before..."
