2000 Light Years Away

Wow! i cant belive im actually going to one of thier concerts! Thier name is Green Day, i think. They are a new punk band just starting out. My friend got me tickets because she wanted to check them out too.

As i take one last look in the mirror, with my usual outfit, black converse, skinny jeans, a band tee and a black jacket to top it all off, i think i look ok for a concert. I had pulled my hair up into a ponytail, not that i could do much else with my dreadlocks, and my gold and black hair went really well with my outfit. For once i think i looked good.

When i walk downstairs, I hear a knock on the door. I go to open it and theres my best friend, Brittney Cade looking amazing as usual. With her blond hair and black outfit she looks great.. Just like a punk rocker should.. I take another look at her and i see shes wearing almost the same exact thing I am. Ha, great minds think alike.

"READY TO GO ROCK!?!?" she yells.

"Hell yeah! Lets go!"

Billie's P.O.V.

I cant believe I'm actually nervous. I've done this a million times. But i guess I'm always nervous a little bit but tonight was really bad. I hope I don't have a panic attack. That would be awful right now. Maybe i should get stoned or something.. Hmm..

"Hey man, you alright? Your lookin a little white... hey that rhymed, lets make a new song." Said Mike, laughing.

Mike has been my best friend since high school when we got into music, and he played bass guitar, and I played guitar so we thought it was a good thing to do something so we weren't as bored. And then there's Tré. I met him a while after Mike, and we were friends fast because he was into getting stoned with us. Then one night it came out that he played drums, and everything fell into place. We started this band called Sweet Children. Later we changed to Green Day though, one because there was another band around us with a similar name and two, Green Day expressed our love for marijuana. Yeah i know what your thinking, but its a good name.

"Yeah dude, I'm always nervous. But tonight I'm just feeling jumpy for some reason."

"You'll be fine. You always are."

"Thanks man."

Adrienne's P.O.V.

When Britt and i got there, there weren't many people but i think she wanted to come early so we could get good band merch or something.

"Look at this shirt! Its awesome!"

She held up a bright green shirt that had "Green Day" written diagonally on it. I grabbed it from her, "Its mine now haha!"

"Hey, i found it!"

"Yeah, but its my size, not yours."

"...Good point. Fine, take it."

Our seats were amazing. They were dead center, and about two rows away from the stage. I flipped my ticket over and noticed something.

"HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET THESE SEATS PLUS MEET AND GREET TICKETS?!?!" I yelled and jumped up and down.

"Won 'em in a bet. I cant believe someone would be stupid enough to bet them though, what a sucker."

I hugged her as hard as i could possibly could because this was so great. My first concert and i got meet and greets.

"Your the best friend ever."

"I know, I know." she smiled.
