A New Meaning

    Everyone dies in life, but what we don't know is when it will happen. My name is Amanda Elisabeth Roseflower and this my story on how my best friend change my point of view on life.

   Everyone told me my best friend wouldn't live to be sixteen but she proved everyone wrong. My life starting to go downing at the beginning of senior year. I had just turn seventeen a week before school started, when I got the news about my best friend. My best friend was out of the hospital because theirs was nothing else the doctors can do for her. She was dying and leaving me here alone. I remember when I first met her I was in hospital to see my new cousin.

   I was walking around the hospital, looking for a bathroom. When I was  tripped over by a girl who looked around my age. She was a shorter than me, had long blonde hair, wore a flower dress. She said "hi i'm Ally, i'm 8" and she puts her hand out. I shake her hand and say "i'm Amanda and i'm 7". She looks at me and says"you fall down a lot don't you". I look at her and say"i don't fall down a lot you tripped me". She just shakes her head and says"I like you want to be friends". So i say"yes" because why not be friends with someone.

  When I got to her room, I see her lying there. I say "hey why you sitting down, we still have your buck list to finish". She just smiles and says" and that's why we're best friends". I walk over to her and she gets up. She said "I've to tell my mom I'm leaving" and so I wait for her downstairs. When she comes down and says "alright likes go to the mall". When we arrived to the mall, we see some guys in the food court. She says "follow my lead" nodding towards the guys and said"OK".

   Ally says "hey boys how is the mall" and the guy with brown curly hair says "what's it to you". She just smiles and says"nothing it's just me and my friend here were getting lonely until we saw these boys just hanging right Amanda". I said "right" and the blonde hair guy said "well we can show ya'll ladies around the mall". Amanda says" that's fine" and I say "sure whatever".

     We walked around the mall with the two guys and left the mall around three. Well we didn't leave with out getting the guys numbers. When we got to her house, she said "you can't stay to night because my mom invited some friends over or something" and I said "when do you every listen to your mom". She says "your right but it's just I don't want my mom to be mad at me before i go" and I said" your not going to die, I known you since you were seven and you got though everything and you proved the doctors wrong, so therefore your not going to die". She looked at me sadly and said "I think you sure leave I'll see you tomorrow."

      When I woke up the next morning I didn't feel so good. I looked at the clock and got ready for the day. I got dressed and headed down stairs for breakfast. When I arrived at school I didn't see Ally all though school and I have gotten worried. I tried a to call her but no answer. I think something bad has happen to Ally.
