Subaru x Shū

I slept all night long and woke up when the sun rose up and almost burned my skin.

I stood up, then started walking through the manor, searching for a shadowy corner.

I started questioning myself about why I fell asleep near the window. I should have known that the sun will come out and try to kill me in the end.

A few moments later, it flashed in my head.

With every step, the same thought echoed in my head: 'You are my favorite' He said. That's why. Because of Subaru. He left me wordless and I couldn't do anything but glare and then sleep.

Something inside my chest felt like it was burning. I touched it and realised that it was supposed to be my heart.

'Why?' I asked myself. 'Maybe it's because of the sun touch...?' No, it wasn't. The face of Subaru flashed in my mind again. Could it be because of him?

I guess that's what humans feel when they say they fall in love.

'Shū.' A voice called me again.

I felt surprised to hear it. Vampires should be sleeping in the daytime, even I.

I turned around and saw my white-haired brother.

'Don't you dare try killing yourself.' He said with anger.

'Why... would you think this?' I answered slowly.

'Because you are walking in the daylight. You could have been dead because of it.'

'Don't be absurd. I won't die because of it. And, after all... why would you care?'

I know that my answer was probably too cold, but that's the only way someone could find the truth. Being cold and seeming uninterested.

'Because I want to do this first.'

He stepped closer to me and pulled my jacket, bringing me face to face with him. I felt something smooth on my lips and his hands surrounding me.

That's... is that... what humans call a kiss?

I felt so embarrassed. I didn't even kissed him back because I didn't know what to do at all.

He then pulled away and stared again into my eyes.

'I'm sorry...' He looked away. 'I didn't mean to do that.'

He was really cute when he was confused.

But... what was I supposed to do?
'It's alright...' I said with my usual sleepy voice.

It really was alright. I liked it. But I couldn't tell him. Anyway, I guess he realized it himself when seeing my deep blush.

'So you are alright with this...? With the thing that I... kissed and maybe like you?' He asked, tilting his head a little.

'I guess so.' I fitted my jacket on my shoulders again, remembering his touch.

Smooth and a little wet... I really liked it. It was better than a lot of humans. And he was a vampire. A pure one, I think. We never talked about his parents...

'Are you a pure vampire?' I asked.

He looked surprised, but said 'Yes.'

'Well, dear brother, it's time to make you impure.' I smirked as I pulled him closer to me by his waist.

'I agree.' He said as he relaxed in my arms.

I kissed him.

Then, I teleported along with him in my dark room. We kissed again. And again.

Then we decided that the bed is the best place we could go. And that clothes were useless to us in that moment.
