Chapter 2

Zanes POV

I stretched and yawned a little from waking up from my nap. "What time was is..?" I wondered. I sat up and quickly checked my phone. "3pm? Eh.. that's not so bad.." I sighed and stood up. I was just about to grab some of the cupcakes Kawaii~Chan gave me before I was startled by another knock on the door. "Coming!" I yelled as I walked to the door. As I opened the door I was expecting Aph, but instead, in front of me stood Kawaii~Chan holding a picnic basket. "Hello Zane~Sama!" She chirped.  "Oh, Hey!" I said. "Oh, wait.. Kawaii~Chan? What are you doing here?" I asked as I realized, well, she wasn't Aph. "Also.. what's with the picnic basket?" Her lips seemed to curl into a smile at my question. "Kawaii~Chan is so glad you asked Zane~Sama! Aphmau~Senpai told Kawaii~Chan that Kawaii~Chan should get to know Zane~Sama better, so Kawaii~Chan thought it would be a good idea to take Zane~Sama on a picnic to get to know Zane~Sama better! Plus, Kawaii~Chan brought Zane~Sama's favorite! Cupcakes!" Her face some what flushed as she said these things. Why was she blushing? "Oh wow..! Gee, thanks Kawaii~Chan! That's.. really thoughtful. S-so.. did you have any places in mind to go?" I asked. Then she squealed and jumped "WELL! K-Kawaii~Chan thought to bring Zane~Sama to the park! Kawaii~Chan and Zane~Sama could walk there since it's not far." She said pointing in the distance. "That sounds..wonderful, Kawaii~Chan.. thank you." No one really did this for me before.. not even Aph.. I then noticed Kawaii~Chan was holding out her hand for me to take. "So let's go!" She said and smiled from ear to ear. I felt my face heat up as I took her hand and smiled right back at her. She may not of seen me smile through my mask, but I smiled anyways. "Sure. Let's go."

As we walked to this park I had never heard of, we talked about our back stories first of all. I told her what happened with my eye and she told me about her family and her obsession with 'Neko Atsume' game (Edit: I don't know how to spell it sorry if it's wrong😂). She had no siblings and her parents were Mif'wa's. I never knew cat people had a name other than "Cat people". We kept talking about the game thing until she squealed and looked at me, "This is the park Kawaii~Chan wanted to take Zane~Sama to!" She said in delight. "Need any help setting up?" I asked as she placed down the picnic basket and opened it. "Kawaii~Chan would love some help." She said. I nodded in reply and went to grab the blanket to place on the ground, but so did she, and once again I felt our hands touch. For that brief second I felt the spark again. I couldn't explain the feeling. It was like sparks flying through my body. It was like I felt something. But I couldn't place what it was.. I snapped back into reality and I found she had jerked her hand back and was blushing. "O-oops! Sorry, Zane~Sama. Zane~Sama can take the blanket." She said as she grabbed some cups instead. I didn't know how to respond. I just kept looking at her. It was cute the way how her bow sometimes fell into her face. The way how her hair was so different, and how the pink stood out so much. Just thinking how cheerful, kind, and sweet of a person wants to get to know me more.. Someone the who's the opposite person of me.. is.. weird. Why would someone want to get to know a emo, not that smart, not cheerful nor funny person like me..? "Uh.. Zane~Chan? Why is Zane~Chan looking at Kawaii~Chan like that?" I then snap back to reality and my face heats up again. "Zane~Chan? So my name got an upgrade eh?" I said with a smile. "Zane~Chan kinda sounds like one of your ship names kinda, dosen't it ?" I said with a chuckle. She then gasps and then I had realized what I had said and deeply blushed. What was she gonna say to that?! That I'm an idiot?! That she would never like me?! That I'm weird for saying that?! "ZANE~CHAN!! zANE~CHAN NEVER TOLD KAWAII~CHAN THAT ZANE~CHAN LIKED SHIPPING!" She says in amazement. I then looked at her in confusment then realized what she meant and laughed. "Well, not really. But I have a few ships I guess." I say with a little blush of embarrassment. "Hehe! Well Kawaii~Chan and Zane~Chan can talk about shipping later. Let's finish setting up this picnic." She says. I nod and pic up the picnic blanket.

"So! What does Zane~Chan want to talk about ?" Kawaii~Chan asked me. I just sat down as she still stood. I just shrugged. "Well, what is Zane~Chan intrested in other than ponies and shipping?" She asks. "I'm not into shipping!" I want to say. But... I don't want to hurt her feelings.. "Well. Nothing much really.. I'm not really into a lot of things.. most of the time I don't have nothing to do.. I-I don't have a lot of friends.. no surprise.. heh.." I said with a sigh. She finally decided to sit down and sat right next to me and placed her hand on mine and looked right at me. "Kawaii~Chan is Zane~Chan's friend too! Don't worry Zane~Chan! Kawaii~Chan will be Zane~Chan's
friend and do lots of things with Zane~Chan! Kawaii~Chan and Zane~Chan will go on more picnics, watch anime together, make cupcakes and sweets together, and lots more! Kawaii~Chan wants Zane~Chan to have more friends, so Kawaii~Chan will be the bestest friend she can be!" She said with a big smile. My face flushed of course. I didn't know what to say. "T-thank you.. s-so much.." I said as I looked away and whiped away a tear quickly.

HOLAAA. Sorry that I didn't post this chapter yesterday. I didn't really have the time as I was working on a project whoops xD Schools getting in the way of things and writing block and just hshcbsjh. So, sorry if I don't upload new chapters every day.
