How to be a queen?
Simple, find your king.
Jungkook was walking home his way home, reading one of his book with his headphones on. The title of the book he read is Princess' 101 Heartbeats. He was so captivated in the story. He was about to cross the street, not noticing the speeding car coming.
The driver kept honking but the dumb Jungkook didn't heard it, he was too busy reading the book. When the car is meters away from him, which Jungkook still didn't notice, someone pulled him back at the sidewalk.
He flinched by the sudden motion. He closed his book and glance to the one who pulled him.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Jungkook exclaimed.
"I'm sorry but there's a car coming and you must thank me because I pulled you back." The guy spatted.
"What are you talking about?! Can you just please mind your own business?" He fought back, continuing his way home, not caring about his saviour.
"Yah! You're welcome." He cursed afterwards, a part of him regretted he saved that guy who doesn't give a shit.
As Jungkook grabbed his book again, he remembered he closed it. He forgot what page he is already.
"Shit! It's because of that guy! Damn him!" He cursed. He ruffled his hair in annoyance.
He had no choice but to find the exact page he is before. Then bingo!
He found it.
He immediately look at the page below, but was stopped, when Jimin opened the door harshly. Jungkook jolted, he dropped the book, not even having the chance to remember the page.
"Jimin?"
"Yeah?"
"You got no jams."
With that, the younger received a smack on his head. He would like to smack Jimin's head back but he thought it's a waste of time, Jimin is a waste of time.
"Oh yeah, why are you here?" Jungkook asked, halted his way to his room.
"Just stoppin' by. I'm bored in my house." The other replied.
"Aish! Don't make my house your hide out." He said and continued his walk.
He twisted the doorknob open, then closed it and locked the door purposely. He removed his bag and tossed it behind and so does his shoes. He plopped himself in his comfy bed. Finally, he has time to read and no one can disturb him.
And yes, he found the page where he's supposed to be.
He's now reading the epilogue, which is of course the last chapter of the story. His hands were shaking, tears rolling down and continously sniffing.
The story is so nice. It moved him so much. The princess was about to die but the prince saved him, they don't even had the chance to have a happy family of their own. Although it ended that way, the princess didn't lay her eyes to anyone except from the one she loved that passed away.
"It may not end perfectly like the 'Happily Ever After' we all know, but she knew it was love, true love."
Those were the last words he read. He unknowingly hugged the book closer to his chest like it also felt his 101 heartbeats.
