Darkness. Pure black. Blinded by something. Captured with no chance to escape. Death, a rapidly approaching fear of mankind. Etavenraven thought as he woke from his nightmare and rose from the water

It's been eight years since the escape from Death and the dragons. Eight years since the fall of Etavenraven's companions. It was then did Etavenraven realize who he was. He was the God of War's son.

To die us not an option. To live isn't avoidable. As a demi-god, he is immortal. He had rights to the holy land that everyone else would offend. He has power beyond what many can't reach.

Moving through the unclaimed land again would mean going alone. Etavenraven said to himself as he brought his head above water, Dosmin must be checking on me for some reason.

“Ah, your awake.” started Dosmin, “I was asked to give you a message while you had your nap.”

“What's the message?” Etavenraven asked

“The king requested for you to join his army. He's planning on expanding towards the unknown land.” Dodson replied

“Doing so will result in thousands of deaths. Death himself doesn't take kindly to anyone trying to take his land.” Etavenraven stated, “Where is the king at?”

“Not sure. His messenger refused to tell me that. He did say however, there will be a meeting with our race's prophets soon.” Dosmin answered

“We must find him quickly.” Etavenraven said as he began to run

···············

“No one is permitted in the king's quarters unless your marked on this list I have.” the king's guard said blocking the door, “What's your name?”

“I know I'm not on that list. I need to speak with the king for a rather urgent matter.” Etavenraven replied, “Etavenraven”

“I will see if he will speak with you. Wait here.” the guard said as he entered the king's quarters

The hall was lined with endless stone designs. The floor was made from marble and runes on the ceiling. Only a small torch lit the hall.

The silence was disturbing to Etavenraven. A faint cry finally came from the room.

The doors creaked open slowly and mysteriously. Etavenraven knew by the energy that leaked from the room that he wasn't the only demi-god there.

“Ready yourself Dosmin” Etavenraven said as he slowly entered the room with his sword drawn

“Welcome brother. I've been waiting for you.” someone said somewhere in the room

“My brother is no where near here. Reveal yourself!” Etavenraven shouted in what appeared to be an empty room

“Ah, the usual tactic. I see your father taught you well. Our mother never really had time for teaching us what we needed to know. Sad Death took her life eight years ago while she accompanied you.” the mysterious person said disregarding Etavenraven's request

“How do you know where I was and who accompanied me? My mother want there.” Etavenraven demanded

“Because that was the last time I saw our mother. The mother you didn't know! You only knew your step mother. You are the demi-god of war. I find it shameful that I know you better than you knowing yourself.” the voice boomed

“If that may be true, reveal yourself!” Etavenraven shouted back

A tall, young man appeared in front of Etavenraven. He was wearing a dark red robe and what appeared to be tall leather boots. Etavenraven noticed his mother's mark on the left palm. Similar to Etavenraven's.

“What's your name and who are you child of?” Etavenraven requested.
