Regina Mills. Former Evil Queen. Mother. Daughter. Hero? Maybe.
I watched my mother become the woman she is. Every time she had a nightmare I was there. For her, her dreams didn't come from me.
When Snow told Cora about Daniel I watched it. I watched my father die. I didn't even reach out to stop it. Cora knew of me but didn't know I was her grandchild. I guess it runs in the family. We inflict pain. I've been like this longer than people realize. She had me when she was sixteen. I don't bother with birthdays. I watched every raged moment she had with pride. She always knew something was missing but thought that it was revenge. No it was because she was a mother and didn't know it. I grew up with the darkness more than she did. Man found me in the woods. He fell in love with me when he laid his eyes on me.
When I was sixteen he proposed. I had my child a year later.
I threw a fire ball into the Underbrooke lake.
It landed with an explosion. I smiled and stood there watching as the water calmed.
"Your gonna kill what's not died in there." She joked behind me.
"Everything down here is died. Anything that's not is not supposed to be here." I stated dryly not turning around.
"Well dear unless you know of a way to get my name off a head stone." She stood next to me staring at the lake.
"I do. But I'm not helping. Your not my toy." She looked at me.
"Why not?" She asked suspiciously.
"I don't need to tell you. I can hear exactly what your thinking. Don't even try you might die then you'll actually be stuck down here." She cocked her head confused.
"Really? Then what am I thinking? Nothing's gonna kill me that I want to do." I smirked but didn't look at her.
"Your gonna try and go down to find that tree to bring the pirate back. You'll die. Only true love can go down. Plus the ones to go down has to be died and sides true love." I sighed taking in a sharp breath of the crisp cold air.
"So Emma and Hook?" She paused to think. "Why are you helping me?" She asked taking my hand. I looked down but didn't grab her hand back.
"I'm not. He already told you. Plus you where going to go down with Robin. That's not how it works." Just then I heard something running towards us.
"What was that?" She asked looking over my shoulder. I smiled and took my hand and placed it on the head of the biggest dog.
"A pet." I smiled evil all the way around. She looked at me trying to see what I was up to. I kept my eye roll in.
"For what?" She raised a brow. Somehow I found this game amusing.
"You'll see." I whispered. I walked to her and cupped her one cheek with my hand. I could feel my magic running frantic. My eyes glowed and bright purple.
She looked at me with fear and rage. I smiled.
I leaned in so my mouth was next to her ear.
"Everything comes with a price dear." I seethed. I pulled back and disappeared before she could answer.Regina's POV
What the hell? I looked to see she left her pets. I saw there eyes. Pitch black with glowing red pupils. I swallowed then backed slowly. They started growling. My eyes widened a little. I waved my hand and they turned into statues. I breathed a sigh of relief before transporting to the Charmings place.
"Regina! Where have you been?" Emma asked running to me when I appeared next to the door. I looked at her before going to Snow.
"Regina is everything alright?" She asked setting down what ever she was making.
"Snow we have to learn what happened." I persisted setting my hands on the counter.
"I agree but how? We can't find anything unless she wants us too. Remember she strikes fear in everyone. Including Gods!" I shook my head sarcastically.
"I know that's exactly why I need to find out what happened." That's when a thought accord to me. "I need a strand of her hair." Emma came over to me.
"How her hair is perfect?" She asked setting a hand on the small of my back.
"Easy. Magic." I smiled with ambition.
"Regina all magic comes with a price." That's when something clicked.
"Thalia. She said that. She said magic comes with a price. Oh my god I know what she meant now!" I screeched and ran to the mirror in the bathroom to see her staring at me smiling.
"Nice to know you can still think quickly." I studied her. I smiled and dipped my head down a little.
"Yes. Now you want me to know your past don't you?" I asked getting exactly where I want. She smiled like she already knew. Of course she did.
"Yep. I want you to learn." I scrunched my eye brows in confusion.
"Just like that your going to show me." She threw her head back and laughed.
"No you have to work for it. Unless you just want to walk blindly into this listen carefully." I leaned closer to the mirror.
"What?" I asked prompting her foreword.
"Riddles. To find me you must be smart. I grow but die when plucked. Unless I'm magical I can live fire ever. I'm thin but long. Black as a feather soft as one. But in order to get me you must know where to find me. My owner loves a mirror." She riddled off.
I thought about it before lounging forward my hand going through the mirror to find its target.
I plucked a hair from her head and recited. I smiled triumphantly.
"Got it." She smirked glaring with playful eyes.
"Go find what your looking for. Tell me when you find out. I have something to do. My dogs are stone that will go with my collection of statues." She took a sip of her drink before disappearing.
I ran back to see everyone staring at me ready to come to my rescue if anything happened.
"I can handle myself." I snapped making everyone jump and look away.
I walked over to the bed and laid down. Emma and Snow came over looking at me questioningly.
"Watch. If I'm not awake in an hour go get Robin to wake me." I instructed before enacting a small spell over the hair and laying it on my forehead. I waited and slowly slipped into darkness.Vote
