It was a rather large building, plain, built with red bricks.




It was so tall, he felt that if he stood atop of it, the tips of his fingers would touch the sky.




It was old.




It was boring.




But, it was in the centre of the city.




Where everyone could see.




So he decided he could do some work on it.

A whole month had passed since I met with Harry, and a month since I 'saved' Niall from his bully.




A whole damn month since I'd officially met him.




We'd hung around each other every day since then and I quite enjoyed his company, but it wasn't until now I realized, we had never told each other much. I didn't even know when his birthday was!




I finished up my last stroke and stood back.




"Woah," his voice popped into my brain.




I turned to see those vibrant eyes and I instantly smiled.




"Like it?"




"It's incredible."




"Thanks."




"You should sign it."




"And get arrested? Na. I'll leave it."




He shrugged.




"How'd you find me?"




"I was just walking home. And you didn't come to find me," he said.




"Oh, Niall, I'm sorry. I promised, didn't I?"




My chest ached.




"It's okay," he smiled.
