Enslaved by a Vampire

Chapter 6

   Next day

Aiden's phone went off for the third time during dinner.

"I'm sorry, I should take this." He got up and went to the next room.

Emma was sitting across from me eating silently. She looked up at me once Aiden had left.

"I've known Aiden for three years now, so try anything and I'll hurt you." Emma spoke out of nowhere.

"What are you talking about?" I put my fork down and looked at her. Like I would want anything to do with him.

"I know you don't like me, I see the evil looks you give me, and honestly I don't like you either." I added on.

"I'm serious, he's going to be mine."

I scoffed and started eating again.

"Look, you don't mess with me, I don't mess with you." Aiden walked in after I said that.

He smiled at both of us and returned to eating.

   Emma smiled sweetly at Aiden and placed her hand on his. "Aiden, I was planning on going outside to the pool to swim. Would you like to join me?"

   "Of course, I would love to." Emma turned to me and smiled cockily. "But only if Naomi agrees to join us."

   I smirked at Emma as her smile morphed into a scowl.

   "I would love to come swim with you." I smiled at Aiden.

   "Well if you both are finished with your food you can go get dressed and then meet me out by the pool." Aiden said, standing up.

   He grabbed his plate and took it to the kitchen.

   "I'm going to get him to like me more and than you, he'll keep me and then get rid of you." Emma stood, picking up her plate.

   "Yeah, good luck with that. He's really strict, I doubt you will want to stay here for long." I replied. I really hope she pulls this off though, I don't know how long I can take it here.

   She scoffed and shoved her plate in my hands, "Be a dear and take that to the kitchen, pet."

   I rolled my eyes and took the plates to the kitchen and put them in the sink.  I made my way to my room. I searched through my closet looking for a bathing suit.

   I finally found a cute two piece suit. The bottoms were a light turquoise color and the top was the same color with light purple lace over it.

   I changed into the bathing suit and grabbed a pair of black sun glasses. I grabbed a towel and made my way back down stairs. I walked out the back door to the pool area.

   Emma was in a lounge chair in a dark purple bathing suit. Her hair was perfectly curled and a big black, floppy hat was sitting on top of her head. She was reading a magazine while Aiden was trying to get her to get in the pool with him.

   "Naomi! Come swim with me, Emma is being stubborn."

   Emma turned to me and glared. I pulled my hair into a sloppy bun and jumped into the pool. Water splashed over the edge getting Emma's bottom half wet.

   Aiden laughed at her, "You look like a cat who was forced to take a bath."

Emma sat up and growled out profanities. She stalked inside and came back out with a towel.

I turned to Aiden and smiled. He slapped my shoulder and yelled, "Tag, you're it!"

   He swam to the staircase and ran out of the pool. God he's so childish. I stepped out of the pool and began to chase him.
