chapter 1: Natsu and Lucy

Natsu's P.O.V

I walk into fairy tail and see Lucy for some strange reason I didn't want her to see me so I thought to my self *go home? or just try to sneak past her?* I decide to try an sneak past her while she was talking to Loke and Gray. I sit up at the bar in the back and talk to Mira. "Hey Natsu! Why aren't you over by Lucy?" she asks. I think for a reason cause I don't even know "I don't really know Mira some strange feeling in my heart is telling me I don't want her to see me and I don't why!" I say knowing I sound very confusing. "But your her boyfriend/best friend..." "I know but I think my heart wants us to brake up what should I do Mira" she thinks for a moment then says "Natsu I'm not the one you should be asking ask your self what you want to do and what you don't want to do. But I would listen to my heart I know you don't want to but it might just make you happy, but if you truly believe that you love her then stay and don't listen to you-" " Hey Natsu I didn't see you come in did I do something wrong?" Mira looks at me with that look that tells me if I want to say anything now's my chance and walks away. I shake my head and grab Lucy by her waist and hug her "no you didn't do anything wrong" I whisper to her. At first I could tell she was shocked but then she hugged me back tightly." good" she says with that beautiful smile of hers and all the sudden that strange feeling I had before went away I guess this mean I won. I take Lucy by her hand and run out of the guild "Natsu where are we going!?" I simply smile and say "it's a surprise!"

Lucy's P.O.V

"Natsu where are we going!?" I scream wondering where he's taking me "it's a surprise!" I see the cute smile on his face and just went along with whatever he's planning.

We finally stopped running and I noticed we're at the exact lake that Natsu asked me to be his girlfriend! "Lucy, when I woke up today and went to guild my heart was telling me to brake up with you and I don't know why but after we hugged it went away" he says explaining something. "what are you trying to say Natsu?" I say trying to sound like I don't thinks he going to brake up with me. " What I'm trying to say is that I love you!" He grabs me again by the waist but this time he kisses me for the first time I don't know why but I never even expected this I thought he was going to brake up with me but instead we have our first kiss and the first time he said I love you to me.

He stops kissing me and I hug him "I love you to natsu." I whisper to him and kiss him on the cheek. We sit down leaning against a tree. " Lucy" "yea natsu?" I ask "sorry it took me so long to kiss you and say I love you" look up at him and smile "well Natsu at least I know you love me" I say and fall asleep leaning against his chest.

Natsu's P.O.V

Lucy fell asleep leaning against my chest and I kiss her on the forehead. "I truly do love you Lucy" I mutter. And I lean my head down on hers gently and fall asleep.

I wake maybe an hour after we fell asleep I look down at Lucy who's still sleeping it was about 8 a clock right know so I picked Lucy up gently and carried her home. When I reach her house I realise that she locked her door when she left this afternoon so I go over to her side window open it up and carry her inside her house I lay her down on her bed under her pink covers and say night I look over at her night stand and see the picture I gave her on her birthday of us hugging before we dated and I think *how am I so lucky to have her?* I walk back out the window and down the street I noticed something was going on down at the guild like a party or something and remember that it's Mira's birthday! "How could I have forgot" I say to my self I run down the street to my house to grab her gift and run to the guild there I see Mira sitting at the bar talking to Levy. " Mira!" I run up to her and give her ,her present she opened her present and smiles " Thank you so much Natsu, I couldn't ask for a better present or friend" she puts on the locket me and Lucy got her earlier this week with a picture of her little sister Lisanna and herself. " anytime Mira and thank you the great advice earlier oh and by the way that is also from Lucy she just went to sleep early." she smiles like usual and says "Oh yea! what did you decide?" she asks me really wanting to know. "I told her I loved her for the first time and kissed her for the first time." I say blushing "wait you and Lucy have been dating for like 5 months and you never said or did that!!" Levy screams. "Natsu has a different way of thing remember Levy." she nodded her head yes. "Well what is your heart telling you to do now Natsu?" "It's telling me to never let her go" I say Mira smiles I hug her and say good night to her and Levy and leave the guild.
