Chapter 2- birthday surprise

*two months later*
*Jacklin P.O.V.*

"Hello... We're am I?"
I look around in a dark place I can't see anything and I'm getting scared.
"Mom... Dad.... Jayden, were are you?!"
I started to pick up my pace and started to run but I don't see anything, that's when I got the sense that someone was watching me I turn around and see a pair of glowing eyes, then another pair appeared and more, I was surrounded by glowing eyes.
What is this what's happening.
"...winged...wolf"
I could hear a low whisper behind me I turn around and I see a gorgeous white wolf, with black paws, it almost looks like Jayden but Jayden has his ears black as well and the tip of his nose. I walk closer to her and the wolf walk towards me. She has beautiful purple eyes just like my mother's, but for some reason I feel so close to her. I raised my hand up to pet her then I noticed she raised her paw as well.
"What?"
I said and the wolf let out a small whine.
I back away and she did the same. What is this why is that wolf mimicking what I do?"
"That's because she is you"
I hear and unfamiliar voice I turn around and I see another white wolf but he had large white wings.
"What do you mean?"
The wolf got closer to me and there was a white flash I look away from the light but when I look again I don't see the wolf I see a young man with white hair, piercing blue eyes, and a white shirt and pants, and his gorgeous white wings.
"She is your wolf, that's how you will look like when you change into a wolf"
He said and got closer to me and as he did i noticed how much taller he is than me, and also how handsome he is. If I wasn't dating Colin I will have probably fell in love with him.
"Your time has come Jacklin, you are the chosen one, you will take my place... And I'm glad it was you"
He let out a small smile and he put one hand around my waist and pull me closer to him.
"Hey what ar-"
My words are cut out when he kisses me I try to get away I closed my eyes tight.
I open my eyes and I'm back in my room with Luna next to me licking my nose.
"Luna cut it out!"
I said and pushed her away and she jumps off my bed wagging her tail and let's out a small bark. I smiled at her then I look down I touched my lips and I feel a weird shiver down my spine, was it really all just a dream or was that actually reality, I must be going crazy. I get out of bed and headed downstairs.
"There's the birthday girl"
My dad said and gave me a big hug.
"I can't believe your already 18 it feels like it was only yesterday that you were still a new born"
"Dad... Can't breathe"
I said he let go of me and my mother let out a small chuckle.
"Good morning mum"
"Good morning darling, happy birthday, now we're is the other birthday boy"
She said and Sun comes running down the stairs with Jayden's pillow.
"Dammit Sun give it back!"
"There he is"
I said and Jayden comes downstairs and gets his pillow back.
"Good morning son, and happy birthday"
Dad said to Jayden as he ruffled his blondish hair.
"Thanks dad"
Mum gave him a hug and we sit down to have some breakfast.
"So are you both hanging out with your friends today?"
Our dad ask as he served us some pancakes.
"Yeah, we are lets just hope we don't get mobbed by fans"
I said and Jayden nodded in agreement, even though One Direction is a thing of the past, there are still fans outside and as the kids of the famous British-Irish boy band we sometimes get stop by fans, but not just that, one of our friends Lana, she decided to be like her father, Zayn and signed with a record company she's known all around the world so when ever she's with us we get surrounded with fans and paparazzis, but were used to it.
I go to my room and put on a black skirt and white shirt and put on skin color flats, I brush my long dark blond hair when I hear a knock on the door.
"Come in"
I said and my mother walks in.
"Hey mum what's up"
"I have something for you"
She said and took off her necklace with the moonstone and put it around my neck.
"My mother gave this to your aunt Susan when she turn 18, now I will give it to you"
"But mum this is important to you"
My mum gave me a small smile.
"It did, but not anymore the moonstone doesn't respond to me anymore... You my girl you are its new owner"
"So you mean that the spirit of the winged wolf is inside of me?"
I ask and she look down then back at me.
"No... You are the winged wolf"
My eyes widen and I back away in surprise. So that's why I had that dream last night.
"I need some time mum this is to much"
I said and she nodded and left I closed my door and sit on my bed and laid down and cover my eyes with my hand.
"So she finally told you"
I recognized that voice, I take my hand off my eyes and I see him standing in front of me.
"what are you doing in my room?"
I ask him as I got up from my bed.
"Just hanging out here"
He said looking around, I get closer to him and slap him as hard as I can.
"What was that for!?"
He said looking at me in surprise.
"That was from last night you can't just kiss a girl specially when she already has a mate"
I said keeping my anger in control, he just looks and then let's out a small smile.
"You know most girls would happy to get kissed by the winged wolf"
He said giving me a smirk.
"Well I'm not like most girls... Why are you here anyway aren't you supposed to be with my mother she is the keeper of the moonstone"
"Not anymore"
He said and walk towards me and grabbed the necklace and touched the moonstone.
"This connects you and me, like I said you are the chosen one you will take my place, now that you turn 18"
He said getting closer to me I push him away before he does anything.
"Why me? I can't even turn into a wolf"
"You will in due time... Just hear my words closely, there can only be one that holds the moonstone."
"What do you mean?"
"You'll find out sooner"
The was the last thing he said when the moonstone glow and he turn into a wolf and jump back into the stone. I stay there thinking on what he said, there can only be one?
A knock on the door broke my trance.
"Jacklin are you ready? Everyone is here"
Jayden said picking into my room.
"Yeah I'll be down in a minute"
I said and Jayden closed the door I grabbed my phone and look one more time in the mirror and I look at the necklace running my fingers in the clover, I take off the necklace and put it on my desk. I was about to leave when I felt a guilt inside of me I grabbed the necklace and put it on one of my pockets of my skirt and headed downstairs to see Jayden talking with Colin and Lana. I need to forget on what he said, today is special since I finally turn 18, this should be exciting.
