With bloodshot eyes,
I stared at my best friend's
lifeless body.
He's gone... Charlie's gone.
Eduard, my best friend
spoke up after a
long moment of silence.
"We have to go, Ray..."
I shook my head,
staying glued to the floor.
"No..."
The nurses and doctors
came in to take him away.
We had to leave,
but I don't want to.
Eduard grabbed me by the waist
and I screamed in agony.
"No! Charlie, no!"
The door closed...
...separating us from each other.
