2:The Little Mermaid

That picture on the right(-->) is Jenna just imagine her with brown eyes. 

My eyes stared up at my ceiling. It was decorated with glow in the dark stars and purple and light blue swirls. I sighed not being able to sleep. I looked over at my clock and it was three in the morning. My eyes trailed along to the string of pictures.

Mostly of the ocean and of me and Jenna. What can i say she is my best friend? I could hear the ocean waves crash into the land and it taunted me. I wanted to be there. Be in the water. I put my pillow over my head and pressed my hands on it trying to block out the sound.

"That's it!" I mumbled to myself. Shoving the covers off me i walked lazily to my flip flops shoving them on.

"Okay nice and easy." I slowly opened the window trying not to make a sound. I looked back at my door checking for any sounds or lights. I hopped out landing on my feet. When my feet hit the ground it hurt but i shook-ed it off and ran to the ocean.

The moon was still at its fullest. My feet stopped as i came into contact with the thing in the ocean. Its eyes stared back at me as i stood frozen in the wet sand.

"Come." Its voice was soft like red velvet. I walked slowly toward it as if i was under some spell. My feet hit the water the cool waves crashing against them as i walked deeper in the water.

Seeing the thing clearly, her eyes were like a liquid blue and she had long muddy blond hair flowing on top of the water. All around her eyes were a green and blue that mixed in with her eye shadow. Little cuts were on the side of her eyes that grew out into swirls.

She was enchanting.

Her fingers stretched out touching the tip of my hand. Her fingers had blue and green nail polish on them. I thought of nothing bad and was about to move my hand. When her fingers trailed up my wrist her hand grabbing it yanking me down.

Panicking i started to yank my hand away; she had a tight hold and wouldn't let me go. The water started to swirl, the waves crashing violently all around us.

I was pulling on my wrist trying to get her away from me. The water got higher as I was being swallowed by it. I looked into the eyes of the mysterious women and she had a smile on her face.

"Sleep my child." She said. My eye lids started to droop and soon they were closed as i was sucked up by the darkness.

 "Finally you’re awake." My eyes drifted open and examined their surroundings. I looked at the women she sat at a table with a blue and green bikini top on. Her waist was thin and her body was tone. Her hair was surrounding her face as her blue eyes looked at me.

Trailing down her body i noticed she didn't have legs. Instead she had a long tail that you usually saw on dolphins. It was the same color as ever thing else on her body. Green and blue.

"What are you? And how am i able to breathe?!" I looked around and noticed water was all around me.

"I’m a mermaid. You know those fictional characters you see?" She said swimming over to me. "And you’re in an air bubble."  She said poking at it.  Her eyebrow lifting as she saw me staring at her tail. It was beautiful.

"You want this? Don't you?" She said swimming around in circles. My head nodded. What was i thinking!? I loved my legs. What was coming over me?

"You can have this you know." She said coming toward me putting her forehead on mine. My breathing caught as it started to come out in hard pants. Her fingers trailed on my shoulder.

"On one condition. I get your legs." She said. Confusion must have swept across my face because she gave an irritated sigh.

"We can do a swap. It’s not hard just a few potions and bam we both get what we want." She said clapping her hands.  I nodded my head.

"How long will it last?"

"Oh whenever you decide you want legs again." She said turning over to a giant shelf with a bunch of bottles and cans on it. "So you want it." She said her face turning a little in my direction her eyes to the floor.

"Yeah. Just for a day." I said making sure this was the right decision. She got a purple and pink bottle and shooked it together. Pouring it into a cup she gave it to me.

"Drink." I pulled the cup to my lips and started to drink. It tasted a lot like a monster energy drink and i couldn't help but gulp the whole thing down.  She gave me a smile.  As my legs started to disappear and a long black, pink, and purple tail was coming out from underneath me.

I looked down to find my shirt gone. In replace of a black bikini with purple and hot pink swirls and sparkled on it. I looked up and noticed the women’s tail was gone. Her eyes were no long blue for the were a brown.

The blue and green were no long around her eyes and neither were the cuts. She looked like a normal human being.  She grabbed a mirror and gave it me.

"You look beautiful." She said. My hair had gone a lighter blond and my eyes were the same. Pink and purple swirls were all around my eyes with my lips being a light shade of purple. Cuts were down the side of my face.

They were curvy lines that disappeared off the side of my face once they hit my cheek. "This is wonderful." My mind said without my knowing.

"I will see you soon." She said I looked over.

"What do you mean?!" I said panic rising. Water twirled around her as she started to disappear. It soon drifted away and she wasn’t there anymore.

"What have I done?" I said.
