" Hello father." I greeted my father once I entered the office. He was one of the reasons why I was where I was now. I also had to work hard to ensure that no one would replace me.

" I just heard from your brother and he's doing fine. In fact, hemayormay notbecomingheretovisityou? " My eyebrows furrowed in confusion as I tried to make out what he said.

" What did you just say? " I asked.

My father sighed then said, " I guess there is no point dilly- dallying. Your brother has finished his course and is coming to visit us. After a few weeks, we will follow him back for his graduation." Wait. Did he just say that my brother is visiting? Oh-my-snackerdoodles.

" So, Alec is visiting us." I stated.

" Yes. You seem to be unresponsive. Are you ok? "

" Are you jelly beaning me?!?! Alec, my most favourite teddy bear in the whole entire world us visiting and you didn't tell me earlier?!?! " I shrieked. You see, me and my twin brother, Alec, were basically child prodigies. We were excellent in our studies, both academic and non-academic. We were often in our own little bubble, in our own little world. We were often made fun of, often because we were ahead of our own age group. Even then, we still attended higher-level classes and got straight A's. That was just for academics. During physical education lessons, we were often leading in races, matches and even marathons. We were also musically talented. Alec had his own band, named ' Rockin' your asses off ' whilst I was in the band and choir, part- time. We didn't lack in the home economics department either. I guess you would be thinking, ' who IS this girl, flaunting her all too perfect life in our faces.' Well, my life wasn't that perfect. I received plenty of insults, plenty if them were on a whole new level than name-calling and sticking out tongues. I never took the insults very well. Most if the time, I came home crying and bawling to my father, with Alec at my side comforting me. There was one time where this girl called Tina who befriended me then back-stabbed me. I did what every hormonal teenager girl did. I cried my eyes out. For days I cried and refused to leave my room. Alec was there whenever he could. He skipped his extra-curriculum activities, rejected dates with girls and almost missed an amazing opportunity to show his musical, talent in an audition for a spot on television. I urged him to go and told my father that I wanted to home-school. He agreed almost-immediately. He had always wanted what was best for both me and my brother. You must be wondering, all this talk about my father, brother and I, but what about my mother? Well, when she was about to marry my father, a sudden burst of paparatzzi entered the wedding hall and disrupted the wedding. Apparently, our mother had no idea who our father was. She hated the attention and left my father at the altar.

Eight months later, my mother contacted my father again. When they met, she handed them a basket containing two infants. One wrapped in a light pink blanket and the other in a sky blue blanket. Both had traits similar to my father. My father realised the situation at once and accepted us under his wing silently. Neither of us have seen her or heard from her since.

" Hey, who's gonna serve me? " My brother's cheeky voice rang through the entire dining area. Ugh. He just had to choose the busiest time of the day to visit. As I was stuck in my thoughts, someone poked me on the shoulder. I turned around to see the infamous smirk of Harry Styles that had fan-girls all around the world hypervantilating.

" What? " I asked, annoyed.

" What got your thongs in a twist? Was it me? " He asked, giving me an innocent face.

" Dream on Styles, anyway, what were you going to say? "

" Well, your boyfriend over there has been keeping all the girls and there aren't any left for me." He said whilst doing the puppy dog face and pouting.

" That distorted face of yours won't help." I say while walking towards my douche bag if a brother.

I weave my way through the gaggle of girls, dirty looks being sent my way then yanked my brother's ear down to my mouth level.

" What the hello are you doing here so early? "

" Well, aren't you a little ray of sunshine." My brother stated sarcastically.

" I don't have time for your sarcasm. Either you keep your yab shut, or you face the wrath if daddy." I threatened.

With that, he quietly sat at a booth and kept his mouth shut. My father was well known among the family for his wrath which didn't happen often, as he was a peace loving person, but as they say, always expect the unexpected.
