(Gumi's POV)
Hi, I'm Gumi and my friend, Miku and I decided to be detectives today. Why? Well our best friend Rin has been heartbroken for a while now, one year to be exact. The reason why is her boyfriend, Len broke up with her a year ago. We don't know why because they were perfect for each other. They never got in any fights. After the break up Nero asked her out, she said yes because she thought it would take her mind off Len. It didn't work, she even got worse! Len started dating Neru and for some reason he looks just as depressed as Rin! So we thought we would investigate the matter and see why those two aren't moving on, especially Len, I mean he broke up with her! We went to talk to the guidance counselor, Ms. Megurine first.
"Ms. Megurine have Rin or Len come and visit you at all?" Miku asked her.
"No, but I saw Len talk to his sister, Lenka about something, and I saw Rin talk to Rinto about something as well. They also looked sad about it. Please tell them to come to my office if anything is wrong," Ms. Megurine said and we nodded after.
After we left Miku said, "Let's go to Rinto."
When we got to Rinto I asked, "Rinto, what do you know about Rin's breakup?"
"All I know is she took it really hard," Rinto said.
"How hard?" Miku asked.
"She started cutting..." Rinto replied, after our eyes widened.
After that we knew Rin wasn't telling us everything. We then went to Len's sister, Lenka.
"Lenka, what do you know about the breakup between Len and Rin?" We asked.
"I know that Len has started drinking. Also that Rin broke up with him by text," Lenka replied.
We knew something was up, because we saw the breakup text that Len sent Rin. We also knew that they loved each other more then any of us thought if they started drinking and cutting after the breakup. I then had an idea, I whispered the plan to Miku and nodded her head violently and smiling like an idiot. The next day we started out our plan. I went up to Rin and then started distracting Rin and she was going to be late to class and get detention, I had an excuse and a pass, same with Miku but Rin and Len don't. After the late bell rang I stopped and then she rushed to class, she had the same first period as Len. I then made it to my class with my pass and then waited till tomorrow to see if my planed worked.
~After School~
(Rin's POV)
I got detention because Gumi was talking to me non stop. Now I have detention and what's worse is that it's with LEN! I loved him so much and he broke up with me by a text! He couldn't have even said it to my face! We started cleaning because the teacher told us that cleaning was our punishment for being late. I washed the tables until I couldn't take it and I had to say something.
"Why?" I asked.
"Why what?" Len asked emotionless.
"Why did you breakup with me? Was every 'I love you' nothing to? Was every kiss dull and horrible? Was every 'I love you' that came out of your mouth a lie?!" I shouted questions that I've been thinking for a long time at him.
"Rin..." Len started.
"And the worst part is that you broke up with me through text! I mean couldn't you have said it to my face!" I yelled at him.
"Rin, you broke up with me," Len replied.
"I never did!" I exclaimed at him.
"Here," he said then showed me a text that had the words 'I'm breaking up with you' on it.
"I never send that text. Len I've been a mess without you. I started cutting because I missed you so much," I said softly calming down. All he needed to do to calm me down was talk to me softly.
"Also I've been a mess without you too. I've started drinking," Len said to me.
"Len..." I started. I had no idea that he started drinking.
"Rin, I still love you more then anything else," Len said.
I walked up to him, put my arms around his neck and smashed his lips into mine. He then rapped his arms around my waist. Our lips danced and then we needed to pull away for air.
"Len, if I didn't breakup with you and you didn't breakup with me, that means we're still a couple," I said to him staring into his big cerulean blue eyes that I get lost in every time I look at him.
"Well then let's finish our cleaning," Len said smirking.
After that day I started helping Len with his drinking and now he doesn't drink anymore, and he got me a blood transfusion to help with all the blood loss from my cutting. Also I broke up with Nero since one, I didn't really love him and two, he and Neru are the people who set us up to breakup and Len broke up with Neru for the same reasons. Now Neru and Nero are a couple too. I really do love Len more then anything else, and he makes sure that I know, he feels the same.
