first look

It was a cloudy December day in Manhattan.
The sky was shallow so not as bright as it would be in June.
It was pretty just like how it would always be in New York.

The time was exactly 6:28pm.
The sky was the color of a navy blue.
The news today predicted it was going to rain
And by 6:30 it was pouring like hale.

Maddie Ziegler.
Your average work girl.
She never relied on others.
She was independent yet elusive.
No one really knew about her.
She wasn't stuck in the crowd but she
didn't stick out either.
I guess you could say she was lost?
The outfits she wore also made her look
Elusive.
A beige cardigan with baby blue shorts
and black flats? Totally elusive. Besides who
would wear that while it's raining in new york?

Maddie Ziegler that's who.

Levi Miller on the other hand..
That's a different story.
Levi was bold.
He didn't fit in with the crowd and
was the opposite of elusive.
He didn't care what people thought.
He only cared for him.
Up until he met Maddie.
Levi was the type of person to wear a
blue and white plaid shirt with
capris and brown boots.
Something pretty nice to wear in New York right?
Wrong. haha

Madison looks down at her iPhone rose gold with a sterling silver
phone case. As she swipes down the feed of the wondrous app called Instagram
she doesn't realize that she was about to walk into traffic.

Levi runs to the nearest cafe there is, also his favourite one. 'Cafe Hey'
He always got his coffees, muffins, snacks, pretzels from that place.
As he runs he notices a certain brunette walking into traffic.
"HEY!" He yells running towards Maddie grabbing her by the east end
of her torso gently and pulling her down to the floor with him.
They both tumble onto the wet and hard streets of Manhattan causing
a minor trauma. Maddie welled in pain as she held onto her shoulder.
"Thank you for saving my life" she grinned looking at Levi.
Levi stopped.
He felt his heart start to race, his eyes started to blink like crazy
just because of this girl. He thought to himself.
Snap out of it Levi come on!
He mentally saying mentally slapping himself.
"I'm Maddie" said the brunette kneeling down to the concrete
to pick up her phone.

As she glanced at the iPhone she gritted her teeth in shock of how
tore up it was.
The sterling silver phone case became broken, her phone was cracked,
It was soaked like crazy..
"I-I'll get you a new one" said Levi out of nervousness.
"Just come to my place I'll get you one tomorrow".
Maddie grinned as she walked away slowly "ok thanks" she
said raising her eyebrows as she plants a peck on Levi's cheek.

When they got to the place Levi and Maddie had separate rooms.
Maddie was down stairs and Levi was upstairs.
Levi (being dumb like he is) walked in out of nowhere.
Didn't even knock.
He fucked up.
