"It isn't really my fault... I get a shiver when I see you with those other guys. Wearin' the jacket I bought," Mason sang, grinning like the Cheshire Cat. "Are you sure your not gay?" Mikey asked, rolling his eyes at his best friends antics. Mason just grinned wider(if that's even possible) and flicked Mikey in the nose. "Please let me change the song. We've listened to it 4 times since we got in the car 4hours ago!" Mikey whined, grabbing a coke from the cooler in the back. "Driver picks the music loser," Mason replied flicking Mikey in the nose for the 80th time that night. "Dude would you stop?" Mikey groaned sighing in frustration. Mason always hated how Mikey always seemed to kill the mood in one way or another. He still stuck with him though. "Screeeeeccchhhhhh," Mason pulled the car to the side of the road. Mason's bright smile was no longer inhabiting his face. He looked worried, like reallyreally worried. "Uhh, Mas what's wrong?" Mikey hesitantly asked seeing as Mason looked like he could kill. "We actually forget it," Mason growled with disbelief coating his voice. Mason yanked the door open and stepped out onto the reddish color sand. Mason first checked the back seat, then the trunk, then in the backseat again. "Be specific Mason," Mikey sighed. He hated when Mason got like this. Being all mysterious and not telling anybody just muttering to himself quietly. Mason continued to ignore him as he got into the drivers seat, running his hands through his course dirty blonde hair. "The jacket," Mason said, looking at the lap of his black chinos. "What jacket?" Mikey asked looking at Mason with a concerned face. "Why are we driving to California, Mike?" Mason asked in a small voice that Mikey could hardly hear. "To give Adam his jac- Oh,"Mikey sighed. Now they would have to drive 4 hours back then 8 more hours to get to Cali. This ought to be fun...
