Joey's P.O.V
It's finally time for my surprise and I am stoked!! We are heading out to the ice and when we get there I see that Crawford an Emery are already in goal an Coach Q was in the center of ice waiting. The guys and I all skate out and join Coach Q in the center.
"Okay boys, as you all know we are going to be scrimmaging. Red vs white. Joey and Jonny you're captains." Coach Q told us. I was stoked that I was a captain and got to pick my team!
"Lets do a coin flip to see who gets to pick first!" Yelled Shaw. Next thing I knew the coin got flipped off of Coach Q's thumb and I call "heads!" Once the coin hits the ice I pick it up and see that it was on tales. I am a little disappointed I will still have the best team. "It's tales" I tell the team.
"Okay that means I get to pick first so I will pick Craw." Jonny says. I see he is picking the defensive side first...bad choice!
"I will choose Pat" I told the team. While Patrick was skating over to my side someone stuck out their stick and he fell! It was so funny!
(About 5 minutes later)
After about 5 minutes we picked our teams and I had a dominate team. The starting 6 on my team were: me, Patrick,Hossa, Seabs, and Hjalmarsson. And I can't forget Emery in net! Jonny had him,Duncs,Brookbank,Shaw, and Bickell. And of course Craw in net! Let this scrimmage begin!!!
After about 1 hour of scrimmaging. And scoring happening left and right. The scrimmage was over. My team one by one because of Patrick. I am so happy that we won the scrimmage. It was so fun!
As we are all heading back into the dressing room we are all sweating and panting. I had the best day of my life today! My uncle is the best!
