Chapter 2-Not Ready

Whew! We finally came up with chapter 2. Thank god! So,hope u guys enjoy this chapter!

"Prophecy? What prophecy?" Kirena said,her hands on her hips,glaring at Aaron.

"Just look at your hands." Aaron said while gesturing to the twins hands.

Kirena sighed,"What's wrong with our-" Kirena didn't get to finish her sentence when she heard Sarafina gasp. Kirena turned to see Sarafina gazing intently at the back of her hands. "Sarafina,what is it?"

Sarafina flipped her hands over so Kirena could see. She gasped. On the back of both Sarafina's hands,was a deep blue,irridescent tattoo of a blue sun. Kirena immediately turned her hands over,and stared. On the back of her hands,was a dark red,crescent moon. "What is this?" Sarafina whispered.

"I don't know..." Kirena whispered back.

"It's true." Aaron said aloud,making the twins look at him. "You are the daughter of the sun." He said while pointing to Sarafina. "And you are the daughter of the moon." He pointed to Kirena. "You are the twin witches."

"Wait,witches?" Sarafina asked.

"If we're witches,then what are you?" Kirena asked the boys,anger still in her voice.

"I'm a wizard. And your gaurdian." Aaron said to Kirena.

"As am I." Dylan added,speaking for the first time since they arrived. "But I'm Sarafina's gaurdian." Dylan looked at Sarafina while her cheeks turned a light shade of pink.

Kirena just rolled her eyes. Now she pays attention to him,she thought wryly. Sarafina then looked around. "Where's mom?"

"Your mother needs help,and you are the only two that can save her." Aaron said.

"Save her? From what?" Kirena asked.

"From something that you can't stop." Aaron told her.

"She's our mother!" Kirena yelled. "We have to save her!" Then Kirena moves to head out the door,but Aaron blocks her path. "Get out of my way,Aaron." She said through clenched teeth.

"I can't let you go."

Kirena then tried to push Aaron out of her way,but felt the warm,tingling sensation in her hands,and the crescent moon glowed a dark red just as she hit Aaron in the chest.

Aaron went flying back and hit the wall,then fell to the ground. "Aaron!" Kirena ran forward and knelt beside Aaron. "Aaron,are you alright? I am so sorry. I did not mean to do that."

Aaron used his hands to push himself off the ground as he shook his head. "This is exactly what I meant. You don't have control of your powers yet."

"I-" Kirena shook her head as tears formed in her eyes. She hated showing weakness. She stood up and ran to her room,closing the door after her.

Then something snapped in Sarafina. She turned to the boys as Aaron got to his feet and Dylan just stood there. "Who do you think you are?" They boys flinched at her tone.

"I was just-" Aaron started,but Sarafina cut him off.

"You know what I hate most?" She didn't wait for them to answer. "I hate to see my sister crying. Especially if it was her best friend that made her cry. Or should I even call you that anymore?" She scoffed and glared at them both (mostly Aaron),then went to her sister's room.

Aaron pinched the bridge of his nose and shook his head. Then he turned to Dylan. "They need to be stronger in order to defeat him."

Dylan scoffed at him,"Kirena just flung you halfway across the room. I say they're strong enough." Dylan said while crossing his arms over his chest.

"But they need control!" Aaron retorted. "How are they supposed to defeat Zithoare if they don't have control?"

"We'll teach them." Dylan said with a shrug.

"I will teach them."

"And I'll help."

Aaron glared at Dylan. "What rank are you?" Dylan mumbled something under his breath. "What was that?" Aaron asked with a smirk.

"I said I'm an apprentice." Dylan said while looking Aaron in the eyes with a glare.

Aaron scoffed,"You're not even trained for this kind of mission."

Dylan took a step forward,"Listen here. My master was killed by him. So don't tell me I can't do this mission. I'm doing it for my master. I don't care about my own safety,but the girls I do. Especially for-" He broke off before he said to much that Aaron would judge him about.

Aaron looked at the closed door that led to Kirena's room,then smirked at Dylan. "You like Sarafina,don't you?" Dylan looked away and said nothing. Aaron laughed.

"Yeah,well I know you like Kirena." Dylan said with a sly smile. Aaron stopped laughing and cleared his throat as his cheeks grew red. "Now we're even."
