Allel's POV
As Matthew drive to my apartment I just sat there quitely and just looking through the window after I told him my address. I really don't like bringing the topic about position in sleeping last night cause its so Embarrassing. And I don't have a plan on riding on his car towards school. You know me I don't like many people around me talking something about me. As we reach my apartment I quickly get out of the car.
"Thanks for the ride Matt. You can go without me cause I know I will be late." I told him
"No no no, I will wait for you. Don't worry about me being late" he said
"Bu-" he cut me off
"And no Buts. Think this is a part of my payback for your help last night. Kay?" I sighed
"OK"
"COOL, now get your school bag"
"Ok" and I walk to the door and get my keys. I open the door and gesture him to come in. "Come in"
"Ok." And he entered my apartment
"Wait in the couch, I'll get ready"
He did not said anything instead he obeyed my words. And I walk towards my room and get my bag, apply some perfume and I'm ready to go.
I found Matthew in the couch texting someone, yeah its rahila.
"Matt, I'm ready to go"
"Let's go" he said happily as he insert his phone in his pocket.
And that's it we ride in his car and drive towards school. In the way I think if they saw me climbing off Matthew's car what will they say or react? I know its negative so I asked him
"Matt, can you drop me blocks away from school?"
"Why?" He asked confused
"Umm, you know if they saw me climbing off your car. There will be rumors about... You know, US? Why are we together in one car. I just... You know... Just don't want to be umm... You know... Center of attention and rumors. You know." I said worriedly and without looking at him. You know how embarrassing is that, and he chuckled
"Don't worry about that. OK?"
"K"
He continued driving in silence a COMFORTABLE silence. Matthew park near the gate. I take a deep breath and open the car and step out I know there spreading the scene they saw. But I will trust Matthew just now and let him take care of him take care of it. I sighed in a long time I did not trust anyone then here I am now. Trusting someone I barely even know.
What is happening to me?
I sighed and walk again towards the school . he is greeted with rahila with a kiss eww PDA. But I'm confused, Why do I even care? So I just continued walking I sat in my usual chair and greeted by a Blonde.
"Hi, can I ask you something? She asked while I arrange myself
"Shoot"
"OK, why are you in Matthew's car earlier?" Just as I thought
"He just pass through me, and offered me a ride. That's all no hard feelings." I lied
"You sure about that?"
"Maybe you ask him so you'll know. And your Welcome." I answered annoyed
"Umm. Thank you?" Slow much
"Yeah" and by that she left. And i notice she is typing something in her phone and that made me alert. When rahila entered the room I quickly ask for Matthew's number. And she gave it with no questions ask I know that there are many of them in her mind but I ignore her. I send a text to Matthew.
'Matt this is Allel. Three is a blonde who aksed me why I am in your car earlier and I answered that you just pass through me and offered a ride. I think its a good answer.'
After sending it l. I sat there waiting for the teacher in silence. until rahila asked me.
"Why are you with him?"
"With who?"
"Matt. You know"
"Don't worry its nothing he just offered me a ride. That's all."
She did not have the time to reply cause the teacher arrived.
Time flows like a wind.
Lunch time . luckily I have no assignments so proceed to the cafeteria with stares and whispers oh i hate this. I ordered my daily food. Water and spaghetti. Don't ask why.
Just on a diet for maintaining a perfect body for my handsome face.
As I search for an empyty table I saw Matthew waving at me to catch my attention.
'What?' I mouthed him
'Here' he replied. So i that's why proceed to his table where the Populars as they call are sitting and also rahila by his side. some students are looking at me staring, some whispering, some are typing something phones, grrr.. I really hate this. He offered me a chair beside him while is him I mouthed him think you and I just sit there eating silently until one of the spoke.
"Hi, name is Katherine Samuels " stretching her hands for a hand shake. I took it
"Allel Carter. Nice to meet you." I smiled. Fake. Cause I don't trust her. Yet? I dunno
"Same to you." She is looking at me with interest flashing in her eyes. But sorry I did not one here to have a relationship. I came here to make my parents proud, so sorry.
The others are just looking at me like 'what is this , a loner in a populars table' I understand and I don't care.
Again I eat silently then rahila asked Me.
"ling how is your morning?"
"Its OK, yours?" I asked coldly
"Same as yours." She replied
And then she turned to Matthew said something that i did not get and they kiss. Gross.. Eww.. PDA I really don't like it. I wish they choke in there own saliva. Wait Allel. And Why do you care? Yeah_Right Why do I Care? So i brushed it off.
As Lunch time has finished we separate our ways and walk to our different classes.
In my way there are so many eyes on me. Grrr. Can't they just mind there own business? That us why i don't like being popular. Even if my looks are worthy of being one. I don't care. All I want is privacy over my things. I don't want people knowing about it. I just don't want other people entering peoples personal life. I'll kick them if they try entering mine.
And classes went by fast but uncomfortable. There are so many eyes on me even if I'm just walking to my next class. What's there problem?
After class I made my way home. Greeted and said my goodbyes to Mr.Fuentez and go home. As I arrive I did not expect I saw. Its Matthew in front of my apartment eating outside his car. Wait WAITING?
I don't know why is he here. Doesn't he have a date or something with rahila? So I approach him he did not notice me that's why I called him.
"Matt, what are you doing here?" I asked.
His head quickly snap at me. Wow quick much.
"Oh, ling why did you go home without telling me?" And why do i have to tell him?
"And why would I have to tell you?" I asked
"Don't tell me you forgot that you will let me repay for your help last night?" I know I told him but this is just enough and i did it willingly. What does he think I am here a cold hearted? Doesn't know how to help other people willingly?
"I know I told you, but this us just enough and FYI I help you willingly without hesitating so you don't have to repay me." I said annoyed
"No its not like that. This is just my way of thanking you. Cause i cannot do anything"
"Of course you can. And you know what is that? Is to leave." I said coldly, he is the reason why there are so many eyes to me today.
"OK as you say" he said sadly and drive away.
I sighed why am I so annoyed? What us happening to me? I can't understand myself.
I sighed again. And made my way inside my apartment, relax a little then. I know I've been rude to him. So I send him a message
'Matt sorry for being snappy at you earlier. Sorry. I just don't want being center of attention. Cause it's just annoying. Again sorry'
After that I went to work. Satisfied
