Ella seemed to be in deep thoughts about something. "Ella?" I called her name for the fifth time now. It seemed she was remembering about something. It didn't look like a good thing. Finally, I reached out my hand to see if she was alright. She must have snapped out of her thoughts because she slapped my hand away and ran out of the room. I stood their paralyzed. What had just happen? I quickly snapped out of my thoughts and went downstairs to talk to Master. He was in the kitchen, drinking a blood bag. When he saw me, he called my name for me to come to him. "Master? Have you seen Ella?" I asked when I arrived in front of him. Master stared at me, narrowing his eyes in suspicion. "No," He said. "Why?" He asked. "She kind of ran away, I think I might have said something wrong," I muttered to myself. "What the Hell, MaryAnn?!" Master yelled at me, making me flinch. His greenish-yellowish was blazing with anger and glowing. "I do not think she escaped," I said, trying to make things better. Master sighed and finished his blood bag without speaking to me. After he was finished, he looked at me. "Let's find her,"

"Wait, Master!!" I said. Master turned his head to me. "What?" He growled. "Vampires have special powers like to see their past right?" I asked him. "Yeah, why?" Master asked me. "Do you know about Ella's past?" I asked. "What's this about, MaryAnn?" Master demanded. "I said something wrong to Ms. Ella and it looked like she was in deep thoughts of her past because her eyes widened in surprise," I explained quietly. "I don't know how to use that power yet, well, at least I haven't really practiced, but I think her Human friend might know something of her past, we're go see her," Master answered with a sigh, before heading to Jake's room. I nodded and followed quietly. When we got there, Master opened the door without knocking. He was not a very mannered Vampire. "Jake?" He called. I heard Jake let out a hiss. I saw that he was feeding on Ms. Ninja. "What?" He growled angrily. "I thought I told you to not drink her blood yet?!" Master scowled at him. "Well, I couldn't help it, her blood is rich and sweet, it's hard to hold back with the kind of smell like hers," Jake explained with a sigh. "Anyways, why are you two here?" He asked, narrowing his eyes at Master and me. "We need to talk to Ella's Human friend," Master explained with a low growl. "What do you want with me?!" Spat a voice. I looked up to see Ninja sitting on the bed. She was in pain but was trying to not show it. "I want to know Ella's past," Master explained calmly. Ninja eyes lit up, amused. "What?" Master demanded. "You came here to know Ella's past because your servant said something to Ella that she didn't want to her," Ninja explained. "So, what's her past?" Master asked Ninja. "Why should I tell you?" Ninja asked Master. "Because I want to know and now! Jake," Master growled his brother's name. "Just tell them about Ella's past, Little Red, or next time it'll be more pain for you," Jake sighed, staring at Ella. "Fine," Ninja hissed, not sounding happy at all. "When Ella was thirteen, she had a boyfriend named, Karl, they were dating for at least three months. They spent a lot of time together but soon I heard rumors that Karl dumped her. Ella was heartbroken ed. One day after school, Karl told Ella that he wanted to see her. Ella was quite happy. I don't know why. After what Karl talked to her. I saw Ella running to the bathroom. When I went to see her, she was crying a lot and her hair was shorter than normal. I think Karl cut her hair in revenge for something," Ninja explained quietly. "That is so cruel!" I exclaimed. "I'm curious but now that you know that Vampires exist, do you think that this 'Karl' wasn't Human?" Master asked Ninja. Ninja didn't reply at first, and then slowly nodded. "Now that you mention it, Karl didn't act like Human. A few times I saw that his eyes were glowing. And on Halloween, he went with Ella. He was dressed up as a White Fox, when I petted his ears, they felt so real," Ninja muttered to herself. "A Demon in the Human World?" Master said, puzzled. "Demons exist?" Ninja asked, looking up. "Yes, Little Red. Demons are just like us. We feed on blood, they feed on souls," Jake answered the question. Ninja's eyes widened. "Then it means that Ella could have died!" She whispered. "Exactly," Jake said. "Thanks for the information; do you have any idea where Ella might hide in this place?" Master asked. "Try the library, she loves reading books, so I suppose the library would work. If not, then the music room. Sometimes when she's sad, she likes to play songs on the piano, but I find them sad most of the times though," Ninja answered. "MaryAnn. You check the library, I'll check the music room," Master ordered me. I nodded and walked away, heading to the library.

Ella:

I shouldn't have slapped MaryAnn. I guess, I was still depressed about Karl. I was hiding in the music room. I felt like playing a song on the piano. I turned the power on and started playing, while singing the music.

When I finished playing, Everything Has Changed By Taylor Swift, I heard a familiar voice by the door. "Hiding in the music room, pretty clever of you," I turned my head to see Master standing by the door. He walked towards me, making me feel a little nervous and scared. "I've been searching for you for the past one hour," Master growled at me, when he approached me. "And now I'm quite thirsty," He added, his greenish-yellowish eyes. "Uh, want some water? I'll go get you some?" I suggested quickly, knowing he was going to bite me. "But I don't want water, I want something sweet," Master said. "Stay still or you're feel more pain, Ella," He ordered me, as he quickly pinned me to couch before I could run away. Do Vampires have speed? I asked to myself. "Hmm, you smell quite nice," Master said, sniffing my neck. "L-let me go," I pleaded. Master ignored my pleading and licked my neck once, before digging his fangs into it. I whimpered at the pain and tried to get off of him but it was useless with a Vampire, that was strong. Soon, I lost conscious and I felt my eyes closing.
